In 2009, when the Vampire Diaries first aired, I never thought it would have this much of an impact on me. Now 8 years later, the series is finally ending. In an attempt to not seem too dramatic, I truly grew up with this show and connected to the characters on a very high level. The #TVDFamily is large and loving, and I could not have had a better time following a TV series. The Vampire Diaries will hands down be known as one of my favorite TV shows of all time and its going to take a lot for a show to beat it.
From the emotional roller coasters this show has put me through, to all the laughs. The characters were truly amazing and the actors that portrayed them were even better. The start of the show was epic and had so many plot twists you never knew what was coming, even when you thought you did. Julie Plec and the rest of the crew did an incredible job at captivating the audience.
For those who have never watched it, I suggest you do because you will not regret it. There is just the right amount of love, blood, and action to keep you on your toes. Also the characters are so hot, what's not to like?
They bring the meaning of family to a whole new level.
I would try explaining the story but there is just so much to it that this will turn into a 10 page essay, but please do me a favor and try it out, its on Netflix. Oh, and if you don't enjoy it then I apologize but I truly 100% believe you will love it.
I wanted to thank each and every person on this cast and crew for giving me the best entertainment in the 8 years that this show has been airing. March 3rd is when the series finale ends and I am not kidding when I say I will probably ball my eyes out until March 5th. I mean you spend so long with something, its going to be hard when its over. Truly the most wonderful show I have ever watched and I managed to re-watch this series 6 times already, and once the series is over, you best believe I will be re-watching this again. I am going to make my future kids watch this, and my future husband. (I wish I was kidding).
So basically, this was just a rant on how The Vampire Diaries is the best show ever, and how upset I am that its ending. I beg you to give the show a chance, and fall in love with the characters like I did.
