For the past five weeks, I have written about different makeup brands. This week's article is about another brand which falls under the category of theatrical makeup. Nevertheless, its products can be worn on a daily basis, are of excellent quality and of good pigmentation. Plus, if you are not afraid to wear color on your face, you will love this brand. My last but not least favorite and underrated makeup brand is Sugarpill.

SugarPill cosmetics is an American makeup brand that is based in Los Angeles, CA. Sugarpill is a cruelty-free, vegan, theatrical makeup brand. SugarPill was founded by fashion designer Amy Doan, also known as Shrinkle in 2010. Shrinkle always dreamed of creating a makeup brand that would offer bold color, longevity, and affordability. Then, her dream came through when she created SugarPill cosmetics.


SugarPill cosmetics is available through its website sugarpill.com and other online makeup retailers like camerareadycosmetics.com, beautylish.com, and Ricky's NYC.

Sugar Pill cosmetics fall under the category of theatrical makeup. Theatrical makeup can be used on stage when acting for aesthetical transformation and for body painting. Because Sugar Pill is stage makeup it is highly pigmented and even more pigmented than many conventional makeup brands, a little bit of product goes a long way and it is multifunctional. Sugar Pill shadows can be worn as blushes, wet for intensification of color and to be worn as eyeliner and even on top of lipstick and lip-gloss.

SugarPill also makes lipsticks in both liquid and bullet forms. SugarPill lipsticks come in a wide variety of outrageous colors such as Navy Blue and Black. SP lipsticks are known for being very creamy, moisturizing, and long wearing. Each lipstick retails for US$18.00.

SugarPill offers eyelashes which are 100 percent vegan and nail polishes. SugarPill eyelashes can be worn more than one time and have a retail price of US$7.00. Nail polishes can last nails without chipping for over a week. SugarPill nail polishes are very true to color and retail for US$10.00.
