9 Types Of Presentations You See In Every College Class, No Exceptions

In This Article:

Class presentations are a cruel right of passage. Inevitably in anyone's educational career, they'll have to present something in front of the class. It's equally as grueling every single time. With every set of class presentations, there are a few characters you can expect to see. Every. Single. Time.

Look out for these nine characters the next time you're unlucky enough to have to present in class:

1. The last-minute presentation

It's clear that this presenter remembered the night before (or maybe even an hour before) the presentation that it was happening. At least they tried.

2. The too-long presentation

It's unclear whether this person prepared too much or if they just don't know when to stop. Either way, you'll be staring at your watch wondering just how so much time can pass in this eternal presentation. Bonus points to this presenter if they get cut off by the professor.

3. The well-prepared presentation

It's clear this presenter spent hours working on their presentation. It's perfectly timed, executed, and really hits the mark. There is no doubt the person unfortunate enough to go after them will feel entirely inadequate.

4. The speedy presentation

This presenter either didn't prepare and had little to say or went through everything so quickly that you blinked and they were done. Either way, A+ for timeliness.

5. The flex of a presentation

This presenter is one of those people who needs everyone to know that they are better than you. No matter what the topic, they'll find a way to turn it back to their own personal gains in life. (This is not limited to sharing a personal experience only tangentially related to the topic that shows how superior they are to all of you.) Bow down to this presenter, peasants.

6. The mediocre presentation

You may not even remember that this presenter even presented something. It wasn't bad, but it just wasn't good either. Perfectly mediocre.

7. The press conference presentation

For some reason, this presenter gets enough questions to equate to the length of another entire presentation. They just had an element of ~mystery~ that needed to be resolved.

8. The off-topic presentation

This presenter either misunderstood the prompt or really didn't care. Imagine a presentation on primates and someone comes up and talks about the discography of Arctic Monkeys. You can kinda see how they got there, but... why?

9. The Prezi presentation

The majority of presenters know that Powerpoint or Slides is most definitely The Moveâ„¢. However, a few psychopaths exist that use Prezi for their main method of presentation. Cool transitions, bro, but at what cost?

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer.
