The "clearly a spam bot" girl - She only has three pictures and in all of them she is loaded with make-up and seems to be a professional model. She also lacks a bio and is usually around the age of 22. It becomes apparent that she is not real whenever she texts you some sexually explicit message first and asks you to contact her. Stay away unless you feel like paying 99 cents a minute to talk to her.
The "ex-girlfriend" girl - You're swiping through the app and all of a sudden it hits you like a ton of bricks. You see your ex-girlfriend and immediately swipe left. If you're feeling adventurous, swipe right and see if she still harbors those feelings for you that she once had. If it was a rough breakup, feel free to swipe left, by all means.
The “filter” girl - Touching up the lighting of a picture to make yourself look better is acceptable and sometimes even encouraged. We’re not all professional photographers and that friend you asked to take a picture of you one night might have gotten the lighting a little bit off. But the “filter” girl takes it to another level. She makes her photos look like an impressionist artwork gone awry.
The "way too clever" girl - Her bio reads like a Kevin Hart stand-up routine, except that it is so funny that those reading it forget to laugh. She usually starts off with some joke that is extremely corny and then follows it with a suggestive joke. The presence of a middle finger is usually shown in at least one of her pictures. She is nowhere near as edgy as she thinks she is and she just looks immature.
The “athlete” girl - She has five pictures and four of them are her playing a sport for her respective college. She has action shots of her in the middle of a game, but most importantly, she has the staged team picture that is taken before the season starts. Being the “athlete” girl will increase your attractiveness and therefore will guarantee that you have hordes of creepy guys messaging you.
The “party” girl - Who doesn’t love a party? The stereotypical party girl on Tinder sure does. Starting with a beer or glass of wine, by the time you get to the end of her photos, you will have seen to what amounts to a whole liquor cabinet. She usually likes to indicate that she is “420 friendly” in her bio, indicating her love for marijuana. Invite her to the party, but not to your parents' house.
The “camo” girl - She is called the “camo” girl because she blends in with all her friends in every picture. Most girls like to showcase their faces in the first picture, but not the “camo” girl. She would rather show a picture of her and her group of friends and leave you guessing which one is actually her. You have better odds of winning the lottery than determining which one is her. The subsequent pictures also only showcase a large group of people. Consider yourself lucky if she gives you an identifying statement in her bio (I’m the one in the red dress, I’m the blonde, etc.).
The “normal” girl - Her first picture highlights her face in a positive manner. The subsequent pictures highlight her interests, personality, friends and other important things when looking to swipe right and get a match. She comes across as charming and funny without trying too hard or being obnoxious. Luckily for us guys, 95 percent of girls fall into this category and allow Tinder to be as fun as it is.
