Listening to original artists sing their songs is always a pleasure.
The song normally fits their voice and is written just for them. But what about the other groups? Most of the songs go by unnoticed, or some are posted on Facebook and go viral. There are two groups that are pretty popular with certain groups of people but not with others. These groups are Vitamin String Quartet and Postmodern Jukebox. Both of these groups cover songs in different ways. These are my favorite covers by those groups.
Vitamin String Quartet
"It all started back in 1999 with a curious album idea: What if a string section performed Zeppelin’s greatest hits? Sixteen years and countless records later, that simple formula has become the blueprint for Vitamin String Quartet, widely regarded as the source for innovative string renditions of popular music."

Postmodern Jukebox, also widely known by the acronym PMJ, is a rotating music collective founded by arranger and pianist Scott Bradlee in 2011. PMJ is known for reworking popular modern music into different vintage genres, especially early 20th century forms such as swing and jazz. In its first few years of existence, Postmodern Jukebox has amassed over 500 million YouTube views and 2 million subscribers.
