Twenty One Pilots is Releasing New Music, And Here's The Evidence

This theory is making fans (including myself) pumped for this year.

Twenty One Pilots is the band that I was fortunate to love and become a fan of before they became a breakout sensation and began selling out arenas around the world. Fans have often had to deduce the band's quirky antics, such as frontman Tyler Joseph's painted neck and hands in black, and drummer Josh Dun's alien obsession. The band has been able to keep fans guessing with their music videos, and last week was no exception.

Last week, I began my usual morning routine of listening to music while I started putting on my makeup. The YouTube channel, PillowPilots, which I had never heard of, posted a fake video that circulated between the songs, saying that the iconic duo had broken up.

Freaking out, I watched the video only to realize that the interview script they were using was from My Chemical Romance's announcement of the end of their band. Frustrated, another video popped up of a theory about TOP releasing new music this year.

After a three year hiatus since Blurryface and a year-long silence from all of their social media accounts, some fans noticed that on the band's website, at the end of one of their videos, there was a mysterious URL posted. I decided to find this out for myself and see where this theory was going to go.

I logged on to the band's official website, twentyonepilots.com. I went to the specific location on the page. At the end of the video on the page, I had to pause in the exact right spot to find a link to the URL I mentioned earlier to a strange site.

When you follow this URL, a 404 code error pops up with a message of silence, which is directly correlated to the imagery on their social media accounts of the word "silence" and blacked out profiles. But it's not over yet...

Another URL was discovered shortly after. If you follow this link, there's several images that have required research and deduction. I'm not that cool, but I looked up what the main image was. It's called a Tower of Silence (hint hint!) which is a circular, raised tower that exposes the deceased to carrion birds.

Going back to the APMAS in 2017, Josh's acceptance speech contained the phrase, "Tyler couldn't be here because he's severing ties with Dema." This has been linked to the Tower of Silence in Iran, which is also found in the "Clancy" URL above, along with an extensive diary entry that reads:

"The perplexities of the Dema horizon didn't occur to me until my ninth year. It was then that I began to contemplate the existential, and decide what type of impression I wanted my life to make. Naturally, to fuel my hope, I looked out upon the distance of the land that had cultivated me, only this time with new awareness of the obstruction that my youthful ignorance had allowed me to overlook. Was it there the whole time? How had I not seen something so obvious? I am reminded of the moment daily, as the realization directly collides with a unique hope for my own future. As a child, I looked upon Dema with wonder, today, I am wrought with frustration, as I spend each day squninting for a glimpse of the top of the looming wall that has kept us here. It was upon my ninth year that I learned that Dema wasn't my home. This village, after all of this time, was my trap. Before I became realized, I had deep affection for Dema. There was a wonderful structure to the city that put my cares to rest. Streets and locations were dependable, and the responsibilites of the day seemed to be accomplished with minimal effort. Once a task was taught and understood, we delighted in our ability to complete our obligations timely, and felt secure in knowing tomorrow's duties would be accomplished with the same efficiency. We all worked to represent our bishop with honnor, and knew that each inhabitant of our region had a like-minded dedication to consistency. Looms(?) embodied the spirit of this dedication. Of Dema's nine bishops, Keos(?) was reserved as unwavering and forthright, possessing the ability to achieve focus that was rare for most in our region. We all admired his, and felt honored to be inhabitants of his region. While we had heard legend of the ruthlessness of other bishops, Keos(?) possessed a stoic demeanor unlike anyone I had ever met, and we were all proud to serve. - Clancy”

If you've stuck around with me up until this point, another important piece came to my attention. According to a recent PopBuzz article, on the band's website, you can search key words such as 'July' and 'Friday' to uncover secret messages that hint at a possible release date. When I searched 'July' the message was:

"Minimum Search query length is 5

Related search terms: july 13 silent ones(43), July 13 the slinet ones(43), July 13 slinet ones(43), july 13 silent one(43),july 13 th esilent ones(43)"

Bottom line is, I'M EXCITED AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEW MUSIC. STAY BLESSED GUYS.

Update: You can continue to follow this theory at the Reddit page.

In case you're unaware, "resting bitch face" is the term used to describe when a person's natural, expressionless face makes it look like they are mad at the world. Whether they are walking down the street or simply spacing out thinking about what to eat for dinner, it's very easy for others to assume that this person is either upset or mad at them. Because of this, those of us with Resting Bitch Face (RBF), and especially us women, have all experienced many of the same situations and conversations, including:

We've all had a crush before. Whether it leads to something or nothing, the process has all been the same. The awkward feelings, the stalking, and the stress of trying to keep this huge secret. The feeling of becoming a total spazz is something that cannot be avoided, and the most spazzy family that can relate to this feeling is the Belcher's.

At the tender age of 18, we are bestowed with the title of “adult.” For 17 years, we live under the rules and guidelines of our parents, school, and government, and to stray from any of those rules or guidelines marks us as a rebel. At 18, though, we must choose which college we want to go to or what career we want. We are allowed and encouraged to vote. We can buy lottery tickets and cigarettes. We can drop out of school, leave our household, and do other "adult" things. At 18, we start down a path of thinking for ourselves, when for the entirety of our lives other institutions have been mandated to think and do for us.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
