Everyone wants to meet the characters from their favorite shows. Unfortunately none of them exist as people, but only as actors and actresses (under the assumption that our favorite shows are fiction). That's not as fun. Instead, I've put together my ideal -- and honestly dysfunctional --group of TV characters that I would love to have in my squad.
1. Poussey Washington from "Orange is the New Black"
Okay, this one is a little cliché, but she is so loving and loyal. Poussey is truly down to earth and she is someone I would love to have as a best friend.
2. Buster Bluth from "Arrested Development"
While Buster is an absolute idiot, and is still completely dependent on his mother at 32 years old, he is so kind and innocent. He'll always be a true friend. He will always be there when you need him and will care for you unconditionally, without asking for much in return.
3. Leslie Knope from "Parks and Recreation"
Leslie is strong, independent, caring, thoughtful ... and really I could go on forever. While she is a bit crazy, Leslie is a very powerful and exceptional woman in many ways. She is not afraid to speak her mind, she has a passion for public service, she always knows exactly what gifts to get her friends, and she isn't afraid to publicly eat pancakes covered in whipped cream for dinner. Not only is she someone I'd love to have as a friend; she's someone I'd love to be.
4. Clark Kent from "Smallville"
I mean you'd get your own personal superhero. Forget 911, they'll take 10 minutes to get to you. Clark will take about five seconds. Not to mention he can get you out of almost any situation, and is a really good friend that cares about everyone else more than himself. While he is in a million movies and shows, there is something about the "Smallville" version that makes him extra likable.
5. Bruce from "Family Guy"
OK, this one is kind of a joke. I would have him in my squad solely for entertainment purposes (partially because the show doesn't tell you much about him as a person). Trust me, I would be laughing 24/7. Bruce is my favorite character from "Family Guy," along with Mayor West.
6. Barry Allen from "The Flash"
Cute, sweet, loving, CSI by day and fights crime by night? Plus the baby face and the super speed. He's similar to Clark in that he's a superhero, but he is very unique. His life just keeps falling apart every second of the show and he still sticks to saving people. I think it's overlooked that he's kinda one of the greatest characters ever.
Plus the baby face.
