This Saturday on November 11th, I turned 20. And honestly, that new age still isn't kicking in for me yet because I will always be a teenager at heart. I am still going to remain as my loud and crazy self because me being a new age will not change my personality.

If any sitcom character feels my pain of growing up, it's Winston Schmidt from the TV show "New Girl." He is a man living in Los Angeles in his mid-thirties who just wants to get through the hard reality of the real world. He does that successfully by staying true to himself and not acting like he is in his mid-thirties and that is how I want to succeed in life as well.

1. When someone tells you to "act your age:"

2. When someone asks you who you're voting for:

3. When someone tells you that they know what it's like to grow up:

4. When someone tries to explain to you that everyone has to grow up:

5. When you obsess over the littlest things like a little kid does:

6. When you are trying to speak "adult" language:

7. When you realize that you are supposed to be #adulting but you just don't want to:

8. When you are trying to sound serious but your childlike word choices totally change the meaning:

9. When people are talking about how you are no longer a teenager:

10. But you and all of your friends and family know that you are still young at heart despite how old you are:

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
