14 "One Tree Hill" Quotes That Will Absolutely Give You The Feels

It has been a little over four years since the American drama series "One Tree Hill" came to an unwanted end. Some shows have the ability to really hit home and this one does that and more. "One Tree Hill" has set such a high standard to many that it's almost impossible to appreciate newer series' of the same genre.

We've all fallen in and out of love with characters but unlike most shows, it depicts what many of us actually go through in real life-- hardships, love, death, friendships, choices and everything in between. Whether you've watched it during its airing time or binge-watched it on Netflix, this show will never get old.

It has made an impact one way or another for millennials and yes, that means the ages of 18-34. This show came out in 2003, do the math.

Granted, there are some memorable scenes that would never happen in reality. But nevertheless, for nine years this show has taught us vital and valuable life lessons.

Here are 14 quotes that everyone can relate to while trying to figure out this crazy thing called life from "One Tree Hill":

-Nathan Scott

-Jamie Scott

-Lucas Scott

5. "There’s no shame in being afraid. Hell, we’re all afraid. What you gotta do is figure out what you’re afraid of because when you put a face on it, you can beat it. Better yet, you can use it."
-Coach Whitey Durham

6. "Live the life, live the dream. No fear."
-Quentin Fields

Some are evil men, at war with good. And some are good, struggling with evil. Six billion people in the world. Six billion souls. And sometimes all you need is one."
-Peyton Sawyer

9. "People that are meant to be together always find their way in the end."
-Brooke Davis

10. “It's hard when you miss people. But you know if you miss them, that means you're lucky. It means you had someone special in your life, someone worth missing.”
-Nathan Scott

You never know where the next miracle’s going to come from, the next memory, the next smile, the next wish come true. But if you believe that it’s right around the corner, you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it, to the certainty of it, you just might get the thing you’re wishing for. The world is full of magic, you just have to believe in it. So make your wish. Do you have it? Good. Now believe in it with all your heart."

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
