Have you ever had that one person in your family that loves books more than anything? Or is it actually yourself, and you're looking for ideas to give to someone else so they don't re-gift you the same ugly sweater they did the past two years...Well fear no more, as I am about to send you off with Ten favourite items that any book-lover will enjoy to receive!

1. Bookmarks

There's nothing better than getting a customized bookmark made from some amazingly talented creators! Whether you're looking for a magnetic designed bookmark (Beauty and The Beast by Shari Scribbles) to a sleek cardstock bookmark with a leaf cutout (All I want forChristmas by The Graduated Bookmark) or even a simply unique hand burned on a slim piece of wood to fit (#Currentlyreading by Marked By Mary) into your books for the times of taking a break...as if they truly need to take a break from reading!

2. Mugs

No bookworm is ever complete without a nice hot cup of coffee, tea, or hot coco alongside their favourite book! Personally, I've got about twenty different mugs, most of them being from Chapters Indigo, but really, you can get mugs anywhere! The funnier the better! I'm definitely a fan of BookwormBoutique from Society 6 with her mugs (I Like to Party...)

3. Cozy Socks

I'm sure that everyone deserves a nice pair of socks during the winter time. But the best kind of socks are reading socks! Something about the warm and fuzzies while reading a good book, make any bookworm even more in their element. If I had it my way, I would only wear Reading Socks everywhere! A great place to get some nice fuzzy socks would be from Chapters Indigo and Ardene. They both have a unique style, but both bring some great warm and thick socks for your reading needs!

4. Book Shirts

I'm sure there are many bookworms out there that have shirts designed around reading, characters, or just their love of books! I myself have contemplated on a bookworm shirt, but have yet to receive one as a gift...So make that someone special very happy with a shirt from BookwormBoutique or even anyone from Etsy

5. Candles

Another great thing that goes with reading a book, warm socks, and a mug? Candles! I personally have probably an entire shelf full of candles, and to be honest I think I need to use them more! They just smell so good!! Meraki Candles is a UK based company that makes incredible candles that can even smell like your next Book Boyfriend! Or even Bath and Body Works has a great line of holiday candles that are sure to get you in the reading mood!

6. Bookish Jewelry

Like earlier about the Bookish Shirts, the same thing applies to jewlery! I've seen so many really unique and beautiful earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc. from Etsy where there are so many amazing creators that bring their own style to these items! I would say that a pretty popular page would be Authored Adornments who even has their own Subscription Box out now!

7. Floating Shelves

In the Bookstagram community, you will see that there are a lot of beautifully pictured bookshelves, ranging from clean and neat, to completely messy and double-stacked. Another cool way of having shelves without having the bulky look, would be having Floating Shelves. Another term for this would be Invisible shelves which have become a huge rave in the community.

8. Book Ornaments

I've recently begun to see a lot of bookish ornaments, and even created one of my own! Something about them on the tree just kind of makes the feeling of loving books, that much more amazing! I totally love the look of a cut up book inside an ornament (I know, that's scary coming from a book-lover!) but I also adore these Library Card Ornaments!

9. Book Protecting Sleeves

Alright, so I'm sure many of you have no idea what a Book Protecting Sleeve is, but let me tell you they are incredible!! For any book reader, having a book get destroyed inside your bag is the most frustrating thing in the world! I've had the pleasure of actually meeting the creator of Book Beau through Instagram, and she is one bad-ass maker at all things Beaus. I have one, but am always wanting more, because they really take care of your book when travelling! A handy way to hold your book safely!

10. Book Box Subscription

Lastly, the one thing that has been making it's rounds everywhere (including my own home) is a Book Box Subscription! There are so many different subscriptions out there that range from Bookish items, Books with extra items, Jewelry, and so much more! Depending on the book-lover, they may want to have just bookish items and no book, or actually having a book. The two that I recommend would be Owl Crate and Nerdy Post. Both are great, and they have their unique touch to bring you the best items made!

So whether you are looking for a gift for that Book-lover, or you are a Book-lover wanting to buy your own gifts, or just give a better hint (a.k.a right in their face) on what you want to get, here would be my Top Ten Picks for them! They all have a great and very unique style to each and every book-lover, and I would totally recommend getting one (or all) of them for that special person! If all else fails...Gift Cards to a bookstore are a 100% foolproof gift for a book-lover!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
