How I narrowed it down to ten, I'll never know.

My Top Ten List Of Walt Disney World Rides

They say the first step to overcoming a problem is to admit you have one, so here it goes.

My name is Nicole and I am obsessed with all things Disney.

I would happily go to Disney World every year, I watch all the new movies, I have tons of merchandise, pins, etc. The usual signs of obsessions.

I recently went to Disney World, in December for Christmastime and I am currently deep in the throws of "post vacation depression." All I want to do is talk about Disney and I'm sure my family is sick of that by now, so I decided to channel this obsession into good use.

Here is my top ten list of Walt Disney World rides (we're talking Disney World in Florida, btw)

Honorable Mentions

DINOSAUR -- Animal Kingdom

I have a love-hate relationship with this ride. You are drafted to go back in time and retrieve a dinosaur to help further a scientist's work with evolution. However, you are sent back right before the meteor shower that destroyed all the dinosaurs and you have to get back to the present, ASAP. I have gone on this ride twice in my life and both times, I am convinced I am not making it to the present and a dinosaur is going to eat my head ( as proven by the above picture -- that would be me in the back, blond head cowering in my boyfriends shoulders). It's a fun ride, but it seriously terrifies me.

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin -- Magic Kingdom

This ride is really fun. You are put in rotating cars and have to shoot targets floating by on big screens. The final room is helping Buzz and the aliens defeat the emperor Zurg! The major fun thing about this ride is you control how often or fast you spin. Inevitably, the first twenty seconds of this ride is just you spinning the car extremely fast.

It's a Small World -- Magic Kingdom

How do you not like this ride? You board a boat and ride through several rooms, filled with animatronic dolls, from every culture in the world. They dance, sing and talk according to their cultures. It's such a great, diverse ride and the song is pretty catchy too!

The Top Ten

10. Expedition Everest -- Animal Kingdom

This rollercoaster ride is super fun and really underrated. You are traveling up the Himalayan mountains in hopes of seeing the legendary Yeti monster. This ride goes pretty fast and has some awesome dips and twists, but the highlight is when you finally meet the Yeti. He rips the track up, and you have no choice but to do this ride -- backwards.

9. Frozen Ever After -- Epcot

This ride is brand new and had so much hype behind it, so of course I grabbed a fast pass for this one. You enjoy a boat ride, going through scenes from the popular Disney movie, Frozen. All your favorite characters are back -- Anna, Olaf, Elsa, Kristoff and Sven -- singing the songs from the movie you know so well. I have to give this ride props though, the characters all look super realistic. Their faces move and speak so life like, it blew my mind.

8. Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover -- Magic Kingdom

I can't really explain to you why I love this ride so much. It's a relatively slow, calm ride that takes you through Tomorrowland and tells you a little bit about each ride there is. Maybe I like it because of the behind the scenes information they tell you, or just because it's a nice, calm ride. Either way, I always go on this ride whenever I'm at Disney.

7. Toy Story Mania -- Hollywood Studios

Toy Story Mania is similar in concept to the Buzz Lightyear ride. You are in a car that goes through various rooms and you have to hit the targets that are in front of you. Each room is under a different characters control. For example, Jessie and Woody make you hit cow shaped targets, and the aliens make you hit targets shaped like spaceships! The best part? The whole ride is 3D.

6. Carousel of Progress -- Magic Kingdom

This ride was based off the concept of Walt Disney's ride he personally crafted and presented at the 1964 World's Fair. It takes you through one family's journey into the 21st century and all the technology the family is getting used to having. I like watching the family grow, and seeing how quick technology advanced in such a short time. Plus, you have the song stuck in your head all day. It's a great big beautiful tomorrow....

5. Splash Mountain -- Magic Kingdom

This ride follows the story described in the "Song of the South". The Br'er Rabbit is being kicked out of Briar Patch (and eaten) by Br'er Bear and Br'er Fox. Br'er Rabbit evades them every turn and gets to stay in his comfy home. The ride has many small drops and lots of scenery, but the very last part of this ride is easily the highlight -- a 5 story drop. Warning: you will get very wet on this ride.

4. Test Track -- Epcot

On this ride, you take the place of test track road dummies and try out features on new Chevrolet cars. They put your car through tests like speed, efficiency and handling. The end result is a very fast, twisty ride. There is one particular part where you are speeding towards a closed metal door and you are very sure you are going to crash right into it, but magically it opens just in time.

3. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith -- Hollywood Studios

This roller coaster is ridiculous. It goes 60 mph through scenes of LA in a stretch limo to get you to Aerosmith's concert on time. Let me repeat that one more time -- SIXTY mph. This ride always gets me so freaked out because of the speed, but I end up loving it every single time. Aerosmith's music blaring isn't a bad perk either!

2. Space Mountain -- Magic Kingdom

I could go on this ride twenty times in a row and never get tired of it. There's something about riding a rollercoaster in the pitch dark that is so exciting. Space Mountain is just that -- a rollercoaster that takes place up in space. You pass by planets and stars, but for the most part, you are completely in the dark and I think that is what makes it so much fun.

1. Tower of Terror -- Hollywood Studios

This is, hands down, my favorite ride of all four parks. I love everything about it -- the creepy introduction, the workers in hotel uniforms, the brief pause before you plummet down 40 stories freely. Going on this ride at night is even better. The elevator opens up, and for a split second before you fall, you see Hollywood Studios all lit up and beautiful.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
