With youtube, social media, and brilliant marketing techniques, it's always possible to find new (or old!) makeup "holy grails" whenever we want. In my 20 years of being alive and trying every product at my disposal, I have found that there are four beauty essentials that I could, but probably wouldn't prefer to, live without.
1. Born This Way foundation by Too Faced
I have never fallen in love with a foundation as much as I have with this one. I first discovered it when my friend was wearing it and I was amazed at how airbrushed and natural it looked. I tried it on in Macy's only a few days later and bought it for myself immediately. I recommend this foundation to anyone who likes looking good. And if the price tag is a little too hefty, L.A Girl full coverage foundation sold in CVS is a pretty good one too.
2. Clear shampoo & conditioner
Dandruff is horrible. It's annoying and is as itchy as it is horrible to look at. In my time growing up with pretty bad dandruff, I have tried T-Gel, Head and Shoulders, and multiple other products. However, it wasn't until I found out about Clear Scalp & Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner. In a couple of uses, I found that my dandruff had nearly disappeared. I will never go back to anything else again and recommend it 10/10.
3. Benefit Roller Lash by Benefit Cosmetics
This mascara is my ultimate favorite. With a lash curler and proper application, your lashes will look amazing. They're a perfect substitute when you want extra long lashes but still a more natural look compared to false lashes. Plus, it's easier to apply so...
4. e.l.f Blending Sponge
This sponge is a more affordable alternative to a beauty blender. It works great and honestly may completely replace my need to buy a beauty blender again.
While I definitely have more beauty products that I prefer to use over others, these four are some of my favorites that I don't see myself replacing anytime soon.
I hope these suggestions helped you improve your beauty collection!
