December is high on almost everyone's list of favorite months of the year. With the holidays, time off work and school and time to relax and spend with families, the only thing not to like about December is that its too cold to do anything outdoors. Because of this, watching some movies or T.V., specifically on Netflix, becomes the perfect way to pass the time throughout the day. Here are some of the most entertaining, thrilling, or engrossing movies and shows coming to Netflix in December that will be perfect for your extra free time.

1. Beverly Hills Cop

This classic action-comedy about a policeman from Detroit, who ends up trying to solve a case in the vastly different culture of Beverly Hills, will be coming to Netflix early this month. With the perfect combination of action and humor, this will not only be a hit with the family, but also for anyone bored on a free day.

2. Chill With Bob Ross: Collection

Although not as enthralling as some of the other shows and movies on the list, this collection of Bob Ross creating paintings will either have you in stitches or seriously question life and humanity itself. Regardless, this will provide all the entertainment needed to waste away a free day alone.

3. House of Wax

What would a list of entertaining movies be without a good horror movie? Although not necessarily with the highest quality acting, the gore and action would be enough to keep anyone's nerves high, and would be perfect for passing time, as long as kids are watching with you.

4. Hannibal

Another nerve-wracking entry in the list, this film is a psychological thrill-ride, and a perfect movie to watch on a cold winter afternoon. As a sequel to the movie Silence of the Lambs, this movie is just as capable of keeping someone on edge for the rest of the day, with its twisted but interesting content.

5. Fuller House (Season 2)

Once again something for the entire family, the second season of this show based on the classic Full House provides at least one entire day of laughter and entertainment for the whole family. It can be even more fulfilling for those who haven't seen the first season yet.

6. Captain America: Civil War

One of the most entertaining movies on the list, Captain America: Civil War, is bound to be enjoyable for everyone in the family. The ever-popular Marvel series provides another fantastic movie filled with great action and visual effects that are sure to brighten up a dull winter day.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
