Summer! It's almost here, and that means the best time of the year is almost here. If you're anything like me, you'll be spending it relaxing and recovering, just like you deserve. As everyone is looking for a new TV series to binge watch this summer, I am going to tell you my top five favorite TV series.
1. Grey’s Anatomy
As the fourteenth season of Grey’s Anatomy is currently airing, there is no doubt that there are plenty of episodes for you to binge-watch. Each episode is better than the previous one and once you start watching you will not be able to stop. From the first episode, you will immediately get attached and aspire to go to medical school so you can be the next Meredith Grey or Derrick Shephard.
2. Hart of Dixie
Although not a very well-known show, Hart of Dixie was my favorite show to watch last summer and I can only wish there were still new episodes. New York City doctor Zoe Hart comes to the South having no idea what to expect (like most of you guys reading this article) and ends up becoming a Southern Gem while meeting the perfect Southern boy in Alabama. The minute you start watching you won’t want to get up and you will aspire to find a southern boy just as Zoe has found.
3. Friday Night Lights
Although the first few episodes are pretty slow, once you get into the show there is no turning back. Taking place in a small town in Texas that is dedicated to its’ high school football team, you will really see how much pride people have in their football teams along with a twist of drama to spice up the show. This show is definitely a feel-good type of show that will result in many tears and smiles.
4. Suits
The way I would describe this show is being like Grey’s Anatomy in a Law Firm. Starring prince Harry’s fiancé Meghan Markle and Gabriel Macht as the world famous lawyer Harvey, this show is filled with drama and mystery as it takes place in a New York City law firm. This is the perfect show to start this summer as there are still new episodes that are released every week.
5. One Tree Hill
Lastly, an all time favorite of mine—One Tree Hill. Starring Chad Michael Murray and James Lafferty. This show will remind you of some of your best and worst high school memories. One Tree Hill is the perfect show to sit down and watch for hours as you will soon get so engraved in the drama of the show that you will think you are living in Tree Hill, North Carolina.
These five shows are some of my favorites and I guaranteed you will love any of the shows you decide to watch! But make sure you don’t start watching until after finals because trust me you won’t want to stop watching once you start.
