With the Super Bowl right around the corner, its time to take a look at some of the top halftime show performances. Some may argue the halftime show is more popular then the actual football game and you're about to see why.
1. Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson
Quite possibly the most memorable half time show, not just for the spectacular performance, but for the moment that made us all gasp. Quick recap if you don't know what I'm referring too (do you like under a rock??) at the end of their perforce together during Justin Timberlake's song, Rock Your Body, the pair strike a powerful pose and somehow Janet's boob become exposed...cue the gasps of America.
2. Beyonce
No doubt, one of the nest performs of all time took on the half time show in 2013. Beyonce gave an unforgettable performance featuring her most popular songs: Single Ladies, Crazy in Love, and Halo. Members of Destiny's Child also made an appearance.
3. Prince
Prince rocked the stage of the half time show in 2013. Prince is known for his incredible performances, and this one was no different. Songs performed include a cover of We Will Rock You, the infamous Purple Rain, Baby I'm a Star, and Let's Go Crazy.
4. Madonna 
For years, people where waiting for Madonna to grace the halftime show stage. Finally, in 2012, Madonna performed her heart out. The performance included a few special guest: Nicki Minaj, Cee Loo Green, LMFAO, and M.I.A. The killer dance moves, lavish props, and special guest made it one halftime show to remember.
5. The Rolling Stones
Last, but not least, is the Rolling Stones. In 2006, The Stones took on the halftime show featuring a stage made to look like their signature lips logo. The band wooed fans by performing their most popular songs including Satisfaction and Rough Justice.
