Hocus Pocus (1993): Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy play the lead roles in this classic Halloween film. The plot of the movie takes a spin on the infamous 17th-Century Salem Witch Trials and includes a lot of spellbinding suspense. Three sisters, Winifred, Mary and Sarah, were executed for their unforgivable witchcraft. Just before their execution, Winifred casts a curse that will revive them when a virgin lights the black flame candle that stays in their home. 300 years later, a character named Max decides to light the candle in order to scare his irritating sister Dani and his wannabe girlfriend Alison, which causes the witches to return. Now, the three witches are back and they're more than ready for a night of Halloween fun, magic and horror.

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993): This film was produced by Tim Burton, the producer of Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands and other frightening movies. The main cast includes the voices of Danny Elfman, Chris Sarandon and Catherine O'Hara. The plot begins with Jack Skellington, the ruler of Halloweentown and the official pumpkin king. After Halloween ends, Jack stumbles upon Christmastown while he is in search of something new. He then attempts to gather the resident bats, ghouls and goblins of Halloweentown in order to change Christmastown into something a bit more his style.

Casper (1995): Directed by Brad Silberling, this movie is about a friendly ghost who tends to get lonely at times. Young Casper lives in an abandoned mansion with three other ghosts named Stretch, Fatso and Stinkie. The four of them aim to guard their home and the treasures that hide inside. Ghost therapist Dr. James Harvey, and his daughter Kat, move into the mansion and attempt to get rid of the four supernatural creatures. Kat ends up making friends with Casper and the rest is history.

Halloweentown (1998): Halloweentown is a Disney Channel Original Movie directed by Duwayne Dunham. It's about three siblings, Marnie, Dylan and Sophie, who secretly have witch capabilities. When Grandma Aggie comes into town, she takes the kids to Halloweentown to experience some early witch training and to also help fight off the evil mysteries that are occurring. In Halloweentown, Marnie and Dylan interact with goblins, genies and other magical creatures that teach them how rough the Halloweentown life can really be.

Phantom of the Megaplex (2000): This film is filled with action and comedic scenes that tell a story about 17 year-old Pete Riley. Pete works as the assistant manager at the local megaplex theater. Him and all of the other employees are working to keep the theater clean and ready for the giant premiere gala that night titled "Midnight Mayhem". As the night continues, Pete is faced with inconveniences such as a short staff, the popcorn machine overflowing, theaters being out of focus, and many other difficulties, and it's all because of the phantom. Pete is then faced with the challenge of stopping the phantom from causing all of the chaos.

Tune in to these classic films to see how they end and have a happy Halloween!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
