Sephora is the place to find all things beauty. I have spent countless hours there, searching the aisles for stuff to add to my ever-expanding makeup collection. From mascara to nail polish, this place has everything I could ever want.
While going into the store may be intimidating to some, it becomes a lot easier to go in when you know what to look for. With that being said, I have thought a lot about my favorite items at Sephora, and have compiled a list of my top five favorite items at Sephora right now. They are somewhat expensive, but worth every penny.
1. Tarte's Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation SPF 15
Why it's awesome: I have used so many foundations, but this is the one that I constantly come back to. If you're looking for a foundation that can hide every blemish, scar, or fine line, this is the one for you. You don't even need very much for it to completely cover your face. While this is full coverage, it still feels very light and doesn't make you look like a cake face.
2. Anastasia Beverly Hills' Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette
Why it's awesome: This palette is by far the most pigmented palette I have ever used. The colors are pretty neutral, so they are good for any look. There is a good balance between matte shades and shimmer shades. It also comes with a two-sided brush that helps with a smooth application. Also, the reds and pinks are the perfect shades for the upcoming holiday of Valentine's Day.
3. Lancome's DÉFINICILS - High Definition Mascara
Why it's awesome: Picking one mascara as my favorite was really hard. For me, a mascara is only good if it can make my eyelashes look like they are fake without clumping them all together. This mascara does that perfectly. I don't know many people that use this mascara other than my mom and I, but it is definitely worth trying out.
4. Stella McCartney's POP
Why it's awesome: I found out about this perfume from Youtuber KathnleeLights. She mentioned how this perfume smelled like old barbie dolls. I was so curious about this perfume after that, and had to try it out for myself. While it does smell like barbies, its scent is so nice and light that it is perfect or any occasion. It isn't overpowering, and the bottle it comes in is so cute.
5. Korres' Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial
Why it's awesome: I thought I should add some sort of skin care into this list, and choosing this item was a no-brainer. This product by Korres was unbelievably helpful in my skincare routine months ago, and I plan on repurchasing this soon. It smells like roses, so that's always a bonus. Its purpose is to firm the skin and help smooth out other imperfections such as dullness of skin. It's an overnight sleeping mask that is worth the money.
