Another Disney article because you can never get enough of Disney, especially Disney Songs. Disney is a very important part of my childhood and its still very important to me today, and one reason why are their songs. Every song in the movies are very special and have a very magical feeling, and once you listen to Disney songs whether happy or sad or very evil, you will definitely feel

The Bare Necessities (The Jungle Book)

A song about the simple necessities? What more can I say? In this song Baloo the Bear is telling Mowgli the casual necessities of a Bear, forgetting about the worries that life brings, and the joy of being a Bear. It's a simple song but I love it because of the music and even though the lyrics are coming from a bear, it applies to animal AND human, "Look for the Bare Necessities, the simple bare necessities. Forget about your worries and your strife."

Under the Sea (The Little Mermaid)

"The human world is a mess" has never been so accurate. The song is literally Sebastian showing Ariel what the sea is like and why it's so much better than the human world, and you would love the song so much that you would want to go "Under the Sea."

You Got a Friend in Me (Toy Story)

The classic opener to the first movie of Pixar. The song is a classic song about friendship and what one feels about the friendship and the friend as well. It made sense that it's the beginning of Toy Story because of the friendship between Andy and Woody.

Circle of Life (The Lion King)

Because first of all, you have to have Circle of Life in the top 3, it's the absolute law of Disney: you have to WORSHIP THE CIRCLE OF LIFE. First off, the intro, second the lyrics (bless Tim Rice's soul), and the music is so peaceful and it really feels as if life is coming in front of your eyes. You can really feel Simba, Mufasa, and Rafiki in the song (which is weird because Simba was a baby cub). Also Fun Fact: The Circle of Life scene of TLK was the first the original teaser trailer of the movie.

Beauty and the Beast(Beauty and The Beast)

I mean this is the most magical song ever honestly, especially if you're one that loves the movie so much. To me when I hear the song it SERIOUSLY warms my heart and makes me believe love is the most magical thing ever. As soon as I hear the opening 10 seconds I can feel my heart jumping out of excitement before singing the words. You can really feel the romance between Belle and the Beast in the song and the scene of the movie, the lyrics are so beautiful, it's hard to not love this song. Also, the Broadway version of the song is 10 times beautiful. The opening of that version makes me tear up every time. But both versions are simply amazing.

There you have it, the first half of many favorite Disney songs. Or at least my favorite because as always this is just an opinion of the songs that make me think of happiness and magic, from the happiest place on earth.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
