1. Going to the Beach

One thing that is a must about the summer is that you have to go to the beach! At least once, you have to take the time to take the trip and spend the day or weekend at the beach with your boyfriend/girlfriend or some friends! I mean, what is summer without the beach, the water, the sand, and the boardwalks?

2. Rope swing/Cliff jumping

Another fun thing you can do is if you are in the right place, you will be able to find a place where there is either a rope swing or a place to cliff jump (that is not too high). This is fun to do and it give you such an adrenaline rush. It is definitely something you would want to consider putting on your summer bucket list.

3. Road Trip

Take some time off. Get your friends together, and go on little road trip! Go to a place you guys have never been and spend a week or weekend there just relaxing and having a good time! Everyone needs a little time away and everyone needs a chance to jut have some fun and spend time out with friends.

4. Go on a hike

Why not take advantage of the nice weather and some nice scenery and go for a hike. You can go by yourself, with a friend, or a group and go on a nice hike. Take some pictures, make some memories, get some well earned exercise and relaxation.

5. Summer Concerts

Summer concert are honestly the best! Most of them are like festivals and and all day concert and they are a lot of fun! You can't spend a summer without at least going to one concert!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
