As an avid reader, I try to find different ways to get access to books. Whether it's going to the library (old fashioned, I know), going to the bookstore, or (something more modern) downloading an eBook, I always try to find new ways to get my hands on books. If I'm not in school, I typically read about 4-7 books each week. I know I'm crazy, but I'm addicted. There's just something about reading and immersing yourself into the world created by an author that is very appealing. However, buying books (or eBooks) can become very expensive; the library only has so much to offer. This is why I switched to technology. There are many apps that offer free books written by people just like us, whether they're doing it as a hobby or they're using the site as a startup. Over the years I've found different apps that offer free books; some are good and some aren't. Here are my top 3 favorite apps to use for free books.
1. Wattpad
Hands down, this is my go to app. I've been using it for about 3 or 4 years now and it never fails me. There are literally thousands of books to choose from and they are all FREE. You can also predownload books in your “library” and read the books offline too. I love, love, love this app and would recommend it.
2. Radish
Radish is basically the same as wattpad. A lot of the books that are found on wattpad are on radish. It's an app for serialized fiction. The two differences are that some authors update earlier on this app than wattpad and you can support authors by buying coins to buy new chapters that they've added. This is a way for authors to make a little money and for us readers to support them too.
