If you're a fan of movies (or really anything that can be ranked numerically), you know how hard it is to put your favorites in order...but, let's take that stress up a notch and classify specifically Disney movies because they're some of the best movies I've ever seen. PERIOD. I've given my list below some high key thought and consideration, but again, this just my personal opinion from the ones I've seen and grown up with in the giant library of Disney movies that could probably reach across the country if you line up all of the copies of VHS tapes and DVDs ever purchased by United States citizens. Nonetheless, here we go!

1.) A Muppet Christmas Carol

Yes, this is a Disney film. Yes, this makes the list because it was released by Walt Disney Pictures in 1992. My family has watched it on Christmas Eve before, and honestly, it is the best version of A Christmas Carole out there in my opinion because...Muppets?

2.) Mulan

My favorite Disney princess to walk the Disney realms, therefore this movie automatically makes the list (the movie is pretty great too though). Mulan did get down to business in order to defeat the Huns, so that's pretty rad.

3.) Finding Nemo

I will never forget the first time I saw this movie for whatever reason...I saw it with a group of my friends when I was younger at a birthday party for a great friend of mine! Who doesn't love a free movie?...a free movie that is GOOD.

4.) Beauty and the Beast

Also a classic and also deserves to be on any Disney hall of fame movie list. No complaints about the animated or the live action versions whatsoever.

5.) Sky High

This movie is so underrated that I want to cry thinking about it because I could watch this movie over and over and not get tired of it. Disney has never made another movie like this, so until something else in this genre is made or Disney screws it up with a bad sequel, it will always be on my list! If you have not seen this movie, WATCH IT.

6.) Mary Poppins

I had seen parts of this movie whenever I was younger, but my best friend kind of got me into this one (congratulations if you're just finding that out now) because it is one of her favorites. We watched it together once, and that is when I found out that she knows literally all of the words to all of the songs throughout the entire film (it is truly impressive)...and now that she's playing the lead of Mary Poppins in the school musical back home?...I'm kind of pretty excited.

7.) Monster's Inc.

Does this even need questioned? No. Alright, moving on.

8.) The Fox and the Hound

I watched this movie for the first time with my family many years ago and I cried my eyes out...multiple times (still a good movie though). This film is actually the reason my beagle is named Todd.

9.) Frozen

Let's be honest. I was on the Frozen bandwagon whenever the movie first came out. I loved this movie, and still do, but I think it is way over-hyped, so I don't talk about it...let's give some other movies some recognition here and there, even though Frozen has brought in more bank to the Walt Disney Company than the worth of all of my belongings and values put together. Olaf is such a lovable character, plus, I'm excited for the Broadway Musical version of it.

10.) High School Musical

Yes, this really makes the list. I was like ten when this came out and I wanted everything I ever did, said, or wore to deal with High School Musical and the lovely Zac Efron. I remember the day whenever I tried to cast a neighborhood production of High School Musical when I was a "tween," and it failed...hardcore. Looking back, this is when I learned that adults could just be nice to children in order to make them smile even when they don't have confidence in what they are attempting to do. You know the whole, "Just smile and wave, boys...smile and wave."

11.) Toy Story

Classic, an absolute classic. No other words.

12.) Moana

Contrary to Frozen, I was so against seeing this movie for the longest time just because of how hyped it was by EVERYONE WHO EVER WALKED THE EARTH (It was kind of like the same thing whenever the musical, Hamilton, first came out)...but, I proved myself wrong because this movie is absolutely amazing from beginning to end and is another example of a wonderful Disney movie that has an amazing soundtrack. If you haven't watched it, definitely check this one out sooner or later! All of the hype is worth it.

13.) The Sword in the Stone

I think this movie is often forgotten about and underrated because it isn't hyped up as much as the other older classics, but I still love watching it. I have an obsession with learning about King Arthur and Camelot, so this one is pretty much right up my alley.

14.) Zootopia

This movie WAS my favorite Disney movie by a landslide until I saw Coco. All of my friends know that I absolutely love this movie, and my best friend even got me some of those Funko Pop figurines of the main characters for Christmas. It was pretty sweet and will undoubtedly be in my top-five until the end of time.

15.) Coco

I first saw this movie last week and have watched it at least five times since. The soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal, the story is useful for people of all ages, the writing is unique, and the animation is stunningly beautiful. Plus, the fact that I've cried every single time watching it. Just watch it.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
