Remember when Disneymania used to be a thing? You know, the yearly albums from 2002 to 2010 that had your favorite artists and Disney songs do their takes on their favorite Disney songs? Well, first and foremost, those songs are still awesome (hence I am writing this). After taking a listen to some of the old songs, it's apparent that a few songs were the best. Here is a list of the 12 best songs of Disneymania. Each song will have the artist and Disneymania soundtrack it was on. You will also find a YouTube video for each song!

DISCLAIMER: This list is based solely on opinion, not by any articles.

12. "Cruella De Vil," Selena Gomez (Disneymania 6, 2008)

Given the title of the song, I think you can guess what film used this song. In "101 Dalmatians," the dogs' owner played the song on a piano and it sounded more like it was mocking the De Vil (see what I did there). Selena Gomez (Alex of "Wizards of Waverly Place" and famous singer) decided to create an edgier rock version of the song, and it sure is easy to rock out to!

11. "I Wanna Be Like You," Smash Mouth (Disneymania, 2002)

Smash Mouth, well known for hit song “All Star,” decided to work on the first soundtrack by doing their rendition of this popular song from “The Jungle Book.” This is a more rock version of the song. The band also does a great job of maintaining the upbeat tone. If you need an energizing Disney song, this is the perfect one!

10. "Hakuna Matata," Baha Men (Disneymania, 2002)

Hakuna Matata, what a wonderful phrase! That is exactly what you will be saying once you hear the Baha Men’s take on the beloved “Lion King” song. The group does a great job performing the song at a faster beat. The infectious beats from the problem-free philosophy will for sure put in you a great mood!

9. "The Second Star to the Right," Jesse McCartney (Disneymania 2, 2004)

I am not usually one for any music by Jesse McCartney, but I definitely found myself loving the beat of this song. The song, made famous for being in “Peter Pan,” is a great pop version to listen to and enjoy. If you loved McCartney, you will love this rendition of the song. If you did not like him, you will still like it!

8. "You'll Be in My Heart," Teddy Geiger (Disneymania 4, 2006)

Another favorite song of Disney films past. This song was famous for being in "Tarzan," and it is still great! Teddy Geiger put a bit of country-inspired take on it, pulling it off very nicely. If you are looking for an uplifting song about love and friendship, look no further than this rendition of the song!

7. "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride," Jump5 (Disneymania 3, 2005)

Have you ever wanted to go to Hawaii? With this song from “Lilo and Stitch,” you will certainly feel like you are in Hawaii (as long as you are outside near a pool with a fan on you). The song is extremely upbeat and is guaranteed to be the perfect Disney summer jam!

6. "Colors of the Wind," Christy Carlson Romano (Disneymania 3, 2005)

One of my personal favorites from Disneymania! The beloved “Pocahontas” song is the perfect slow-paced jam to listen to. Romano (Wren of "Even Stevens" and Disney icon Kim Possible) does a phenomenal job of bringing emotion and soul to her take on it. Of all the songs on Disneymania 3, this is the defining song of the soundtrack!

5. "Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah," Aly & AJ (Disneymania 3, 2005)

My oh my, what a wonderful song. This song used to be the "Let It Go" of 1947 live-action Disney film "Song of the South" (which gained an Academy Award). You cannot help smiling when you hear the happy melody! Also, remember Aly & AJ Michalka (well, at least Alyson from "Phil of The Future")? The singing sisters do a "satisfactory" job of remaking a classic Disney song!

4. "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes," Disney Channel Cast (Disneymania 4, 2006)

OK, let's face it, when the music video aired for this on Disney, you definitely got up and danced to it (we all know it). The song, made famous for its inclusion in "Cinderella," gets a pop remix with the then-famous Disney Channel television stars collaborating on it. With stars like Raven Symone, Aly Michalka and Ashley Tisdale doing most of the lead vocals, the song is packed with energy and star power to boot!

3. "Kiss the Girl," Ashley Tisdale (Disneymania 5, 2007)

Everyone knows the famous song from "The Little Mermaid" sung by Sebastian. Ashley Tisdale (Maddie from "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" and Candace of "Phineas and Ferb") decided to do a pop version of the song, and she did not disappoint. The song was well-received, with it becoming an infamous Disney Channel music video. My oh my, the times have gone by, I think you're gonna love "Kiss the Girl."

2. "Candle on the Water," Anneliese Van Der Pol (Disneymania 4, 2006)

A great song, but you are probably wondering what film the song is from. The song was done in another live-action Disney film, "Pete's Dragon." Given the emotional tone of the song, no star sung it better than Anneliese Van Der Pol (Chelsea of "That's So Raven"). The song's uplifting beat can revitalize you!

And my number one song of Disneymania is...

1. "I Just Can't Wait to Be King," Allstar Weekend (Disneymania 7, 2010).

Once again, this was the song you jammed out to when Simba sang it in "The Lion King." Allstar Weekend does a great job of making a rock version of the song. There is nothing else to say about the song. As someone who loves that film, I definitely love unleashing my inner child and rocking out when I hear this (something you will do too, trust me)!

This is the list of the best, as each soundtrack wrote on the hard copy "Stars singing Disney...their way!" Did your favorites make the list?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
