After months of losing sleep, procrastinating homework, and experiencing emotional ups and downs, I finally finished all ten seasons of "Friends." Despite my quick recovery of now moving onto "How I Met Your Mother" (I highly recommend), having spent so much time with Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, Joey, Rachel, and Ross, I feel it is only appropriate that I dedicate this piece to being a compiled list of some of the my favorite moments: Ross's biggest f*ck-ups.
"Doctor" Ross Geller is the sweet, goofy, dinosaur-loving, divorce-prone loser that we all love. However, for anyone who has seen the show, we can all agree that he sometimes (most of the time) makes questionable decisions.
1. The One Where Ross Sleeps With Another Girl
Season 3, Episode 15
I don't care how many times Ross screams "WE WERE ON A BREAK!" Moments after Rachel decides that she and Ross should take some time apart, he sleeps with Copy Girl. Furthermore, he runs across the city, tracking down everyone who could possibly know, to keep the secret from her... only to find that Gunther already told.
2. The One Where Ross Says the Wrong Name
Season 5, Episode 1
Clearly still in love with Rachel, Ross accidentally says her name instead of Emily's, his fiancé at the time and now second divorced wife.
3. The One Where Ross Blows Up Over a Sandwich
Season 5 Episode 9
After yelling at a coworker over eating his leftover Thanksgiving sandwich (to be honest, I'd be pretty upset too), Ross is sent to therapy and placed on sabbatical.
4. The One Where Ross Wears Leather Pants
Season 5, Episode 11
Deciding to wear leather pants on his date, Ross excuses himself to the bathroom to take them off after overheating. However, after realizing that they shrunk and he can no longer pull them up, he turns to lotion and baby powder to help... It didn't.
5. The One Where Ross Won't Divorce Rachel
Season 6, Episode 3
Refusing to get a third divorce, Ross lies to Rachel that he "took care of it," only for her to find out later that they're still married.
6. The One Where Ross Has a British Accent
Season 6, Episode 4
Nervous to impress his students, Ross began his class with a (the phoniest sounding) British accent, and was then forced to continue it.
7. The One Where Ross Whitens His Teeth
Season 6, Episode 8
Trying to impress his date for the night, Ross leaves whitening strips on for too long, making his teeth glow-in-the-dark.
8. The One Where Ross Wants to Attack Women
Season 6, Episode 17
Trying to prove that Rachel and Phoebe do not have "Unagi" like he does, Ross seeks advice from their self defense instructor on how to attack women. Not the way to go...
9. The One Where Ross Tries to Bang His Cousin
Season 7, Episode 19
After Monica realizes that Chandler is infatuated with her cousin, she sends her to stay with Ross. However, Monica's idea backfired as Ross found himself convinced that his cousin was sending him "signals." No, Ross. That's your cousin.
10. The One Where Ross Gets a Spray Tan
Season 10, Episode 3
Unable to count to five seconds properly (NOT WITH THE "MISSISSIPPI'S"), Ross finds himself with the worst tans lines in history.
11. The One Where Ross Kissed His Sister
Season 10, Episode 11
Thinking it was Rachel, Ross kissed Monica at a college party years ago. Yep, he was her "midnight mystery man."
