It’s Friday night and you and your friends are ready to have the time of your lives. You have your frat route mapped, a new pair of booties, and sights set on being the DJ for the night. Here are some party jams that are guaranteed to get the party going.

10. “All Night Longer” by Sammy Adams

This is the classic “no one is partying so it's time to play this song and get everyone hyped” song. Trust me, even for you party newbies, this song will be a hit.


9. "Hood Go Crazy” by Tech N9ne

This song is recent compared to the rest of the list. I predict this will be the new party anthem for a while. Don’t worry, Tech, Kansas City natives still know how to party!


8. “Habits (Stay High)” by Tove Love

This isn’t your average party jam but don’t worry everyone will still LOVE it. This is the song to warm up the crowd. It will make you feel good and get ready for a great night.


7. “Anaconda” by Nicki Minaj

I put this one on the list because I heard it at every single party last year. Have fun trying to rap like Nicki while secretly hoping they would just play the original “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-A-Lot.

6. “Angel” by Shaggy

It’s time to slow things down a little bit with this jam. Not only will you be really feeling the beat with this song but you know the guy in the corner is about to do the best impression of Shaggy you have ever seen.

If you want the college party experience that you see in the movies, this song is a must. Great beat for jumping, great slow parts to build up to your crazy dance moves that will get the whole room going nuts.

Don’t lie and say you don’t know all the words to this song. This song has it all. Awesome rapping, good beat and the smooth voice of good ole R. Kelly. This is the sing-a-long song that everyone should have memorized by the end of their freshman year.

You didn’t think I was going to forget a G.N.O anthem did you? Yoncé is queen. This pick needs no explanation. Boys, play this and the girls will come running.

Come on, you knew this was going to be on here. (Peace up, A-Town!)

1. “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers

K-State students knew this was going to be the top song. This will forever be a best (and most underrated) party anthem. Get ready for a mosh pit and some chanting during the guitar solos.
