People who get a warm fuzzy feeling every time they walk into Sephora understand what I am talking about when I say makeup is a huge part of my life. The feeling I get when I find a new foundation that matches my skin color exactly is equivalent to the feeling one would get when they finished a marathon. I understand the struggle that some go through when it comes to finding the best makeup products. I am here to provide you with a list of what I think are must have's from Sephora in order to make your makeup go to the next level.
1. Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner ($19)
This eyeliner is the best I have ever used if you are looking for eyeliner that does not smear and will not leave any smudges at the top of your eyelid. The name being tattoo eyeliner speaks for itself, this stuff does not come off unless scrubbed off with makeup remover which is perfect. It looks the same throughout the whole day and it gives off the impression that you recently just put on your eye makeup.
2. They're Real! by Benefit ($24)
This mascara is my number one favorite because it does not clump, it will make your lashes longer than they have ever been before, and it lasts throughout the whole day. Mascara is the toughest makeup to nail when it comes to finding the best product, and I definitely feel like I found the best mascara.
3. Urban Decay Revolution High-Color Lip Gloss in the Color Failbait ($22)
One of the only lip glosses I have found throughout the years that does not leave your lips chapped, it does not need to be reapplied often, and it does not leave white crust in the corner of your lips. This color specifically is the perfect natural color with a little bit of shimmer to give you the perfect amount of shine.
4. Makeup Forever HD Microfinish Powder ($35)
This makeup product is one that many forget but one that is essential to finishing off your look. This powder completes your image by giving you more of a natural look. Put this powder on once you are finished with all of your makeup.
5. Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder ($38)
Some powders can make you look very cakey but this one gives the opposite effect. While still giving a full coverage, this powder does not just sit on top of your face and make you look like you are wearing a mask of makeup. Another positive is this powder lasts a long time, even if used everyday.
6. Hourglass Liquid Powder Foundation Mattifying Oil Free ($55)
With all of the different types of skin, foundation can be tricky. You don't want foundation to make you look orange. Instead, you want a foundation that will blend in with your skin and give you the most natural look possible. This is the one makeup product I could go on and on about, hands down my favorite makeup product that I own. This foundation does not come off with sweat either, and instead it absorbs the sweat leaving you looking similar to how you looked at the beginning of the workout.
7. Anastasia Beverley Hills Contour Kit ($40)
This contour kit gives you all of the colors you need in the right shade. The color choices this kit provides, gives you the products to make your face actually looked contoured instead of just highlighted in certain areas. Your face will be completely transformed and defined after using this contour kit.
8. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush ($38)
Blush is a product that not everyone uses but when it is used correctly it can completely transform a look. This blush is not too pink and it has a shimmer in it which adds to the highlighting affect throughout your face. Within the blush is different shades of pink so you get the perfect shade once they are all swirled together.
9. BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed ($38)
Every time you walk into Sephora this product will either have one available or you will have to order online. The perfect highlight that this gives is a highlight that everyone needs to experience once. Even though it is a bit pricey, it is a must have.
10. Too Faced Natural Eye Neutral Eye Shadow Collection ($36)
For those of you who don't want the dramatic eye shadow and are not into the obnoxious overwhelming colors, this pallet is for you. This pallet gives you enough so it looks like you are wearing eye shadow, but your eye shadow is definitely not going to be the focal point of your face.
