Hey there,

I understand everyone has their opinions, and we are all entitled to those opinions. You could be critiquing my social media, discussing my actions with your groups of friends, or nitpicking at the details of my life. Hell, I do it too, but has it ever occurred to you that maybe (just maybe) you have no damn idea what you are talking about? Pardon my French, but seriously. I just simply cannot understand how you can sit back and deliberately inspect my life piece by piece without knowing squat about me. So, I thought, how about you and I have a little talk.

Now, you see, I'm actually not that bad. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely suck sometimes, but not as bad as you make it out to seem. Let's start out with my choices. You can discuss the choices I make in life all you want because guess what... they aren't your choices to make! I do not give a rat's behind if the choice was a good or bad one. It is none of your business! Shocker, I know, but it's true. We all mess up in life. We all make questionable choices. We all make mistakes. Deal with it, move on, and oh, I don't know maybe focus on you own choices.

Okay, next. We can move onto your lovely critiques about my personality now. Everyone is different! Literally, there is not a single person who is the same as you. Do you want to know why? Well, I mean part of it has to do with our genetic makeup, but we all have different personalities! Amazing, right? Every single person on this planet expresses themselves differently. Whether I am loud, quiet, narcissistic, kind, dramatic, or all of the above; nobody else is like me. I don't know about you, but I love that. So, let me be me and you can be you. Sound like a plan? Perfect.

We still have more to talk about though, like you judging my appearance. Let's all take a brief moment to refer to the above paragraph where I mentioned how we al have different genetics. Ok, cool, so in addition to that literally everyone has things they don't like about themselves. It could be your thighs, nose, tummy, teeth, hair, exedra. We all have those insecurities, so get over it. Nobody is perfect, besides maybe Jennifer Aniston, but even she got a nose job! Nobodies bodies will ever be 100% perfect to themselves, so stop nitpicking everyone else insecurities and think about how it'd feel if I was doing that to you.

With all of this being said, you must understand that you and I will not lead the same lives. Every individual person's lives will be made up of a series of events which will influence everything that they are. So, respectfully, if you want to judge who I am then you have to know why I am the way I am first.

Glad we had this talk.

From,

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
