This week I wanted to talk about something that inspires me, but rather than something, I'm talking about someone. This person has so much light in them that it radiates from her to others so easily. She has a way of making you feel important and worth something so much more. She inspires me every day and she doesn't even know.
Our friendship started here at WSU once I joined my sorority, Delta Delta Delta. She is a year older than me and I looked up to her right away. She put off such positive vibes and everyone always wanted to be around her. Now, she and I have talked and we cannot remember how we became friends, we just don't remember a time when we weren't. Those are the friends that make you lose track of time because you are enjoying each other's company so much. Every time we hang out, we cannot seem to separate because we literally talk about everything under the sun. I will be in her cozy little room, cuddled in her bed, and we keep talking about anything and everything. It is the greatest feeling having someone listen to you and she listens and actually cares about what you are saying. When we first started to be friends, I was new in my sorority and she was the one person I felt safe and comfortable with. She has a way to make you feel that way right off the bat, almost as though you have been friends for years. Now, we don't get to see each other all the time but when we do it is like we have been by each other's sides for weeks straight.
Life is busy and not always easy, but having her as one of your best friends gives you the will and motivation to move forward. She is so strong and has battled some difficult obstacles in life and not once did I see her as weak. She was so strong and brave and still so happy and that constantly inspires me. Someone so giving and selfless who struggles and yet makes sure that you are happy and everything is okay in your life before even bringing up anything in hers. She is the most giving and funny and inspiring person I know. Whenever you ask someone if they know her, their face lights up, they smile as if she were someone famous. She is pretty well-known here and throughout my time being here I have never heard a negative thing about her. Everyone always talks about how genuine and humble she is and those are things that I value in a friendship. She is the friend you can call at midnight and she will let you come over and talk as long as you want. She is the friend that will go on any adventure and is always willing to go out of her comfort zone. She is someone who has a lot of qualities that I wish I had within myself. She is an amazing person and gives so much to people. People would be so lucky to know her and be able to call her their friend.
So since you are so humble and giving I bet you never thought that I would write this for you. But these things need to be said and these things need to be heard by everyone. You inspire me every day and you have no idea just how much. You are hardworking and make time for your friends. But you always follow your dreams and make others believe that theirs can come true. You have such a way with people that you make them want to be the best version of themselves. Bianca, you are one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and no matter where life takes us, you will always be my inspiration. Thank you for all that you do! Love you!
