As of right now, I lack the readiness for such a commitment that marriage requires. Love Me For ALL of Me, Not Just Parts
I'm stubborn. I'm difficult. Indecisive, thin-skinned, impatient, among many other things. I want you to see the good in me, but never mask away who I truly am. I may not be proud of these characteristics that I used to describe myself, but regardless of that, they're apart of the woman I am. None of us are perfect, for that is not feasible for humans to accomplish. We are capable, however, of controlling how we view someone. Future husband, look at me and see ALL of me. Find all the characteristics that are enjoyable and fun and lovable, but don't forget about the side of me that confirms my detachment from the concept of perfection.
Know That I Chose You Because I Love You
I guess it's safe to say that I haven't quite experienced what it's like to love you or be loved by you yet. Luckily for me, I've been blessed with an imagination that allows for me to envision what it's like; it's powerful, beautiful, breathtaking, irreplaceable, true, real, and everything. Every time I say to you, "I love you," it's not for the sake of simply saying it. It's because in my heart, there is a love so deep and eternal that no matter what circumstances arise or what hindrances come clashing our way, that love will never be broken or even remotely altered. It's there for you forever and always. Literally.
I'm Proud Of Us For Who We Have Decided To Become
Yes, marriage is a normal thing that happens all the time to people all around the world. But, no one has the exact same kind of love or relationship that we do. Uniqueness: it's the kind of thing that makes life so damn interesting, especially this life of ours. Ours. Wow. Another thing that puts a spin on life is the fact that we're always faced with decisions. And sometimes we make the right ones, other time the wrong ones. The one thing I'm most certain of though, is that the best decision I have made and ever will make is when I decided to become yours and make you mine. I hope you feel the same way.
You're The Man Of My Dreams
I'm a lot of things, but I am most certainly not a woman who will agree to settle. I may not always get what I want (rightfully so), but I fight like hell for anything that I find worth fighting for. And there is nobody or anything out there that I want more than you. Someone who makes me feel loved, valued, cared for, special, beautiful: that's the absolute man of my dreams. And trust me when I say that I will do everything in my power to make sure you feel that way too.
We Ended Up In Each Others' Lives For A Reason
I have no doubt that we will face times that will test us and this relationship that we've built together. It's a rollercoaster and for a rollercoaster to only go up is unfortunately an impossible feat. No matter what though, whether we're in the highs or in the lows, I will continue to love you from the heart. And I will never forget what it means to be blessed to have a man who loves me as much as you've loved me.
I will cherish you. I will love you. I will embrace every day I have with you. You are my future husband, the man that I will spend a lifetime with. I can't wait for the day where I can finally meet you and start a life alongside you.
