Having a dog is the best thing that life can give you. A furry four legged friend is all that you need to make any day better. A dog in the family is treated like another child. In my house, my dog is the forgotten child. He barks whenever he see's my mom just like how when I see my mom I get excited. He eats our left over food from dinner. You are my first dog and you will always have a place in my heart. I know you can't read, but here is a list of everything i am thankful because of you.

1. Thank you for letting me sleep on you when you are sleeping.

I'm sorry for annoying you when you are sleeping. You just look so cute when you sleep, so I decide to join you. I don't mind getting your hair all over me when I do lay on you.

2. Thank you for listening to me.

I know you can't really understand me when I talk, but I still talk to you about whats annoying me in my day. I know sometimes you look at me like you understand, but I know you don't. But I still keep talking to you as if you understand me.

3. Thank you for always being happy to see me.

Going away to school makes you miss your dog more. So when I come home you are always excited to see me because you know I will show you so much love and attention.

4. Thank you for watching the house when we are asleep.

Even though you aren't scary, you always make sure to have your guard down when the rest of the house is asleep just in case something bad were to happen.

5. Thank you for being friendly with my friends.

My friends are the best thing in my life, next to my dog. So every time that they come over, you are always so friendly.

6. Thank you for letting me take pictures of you...all the time.

I know I annoy you with me wanting pictures of you all the time. But my Snapchat friends love to see you. Keep looking cute for my snapchat.

7. Thank you for amazing memories.

You are one stupid dog, but you have made so many memories. Even when you pass, I will remember how stupid you actually were and it will make me smile every time.

So keep being amazing and keep making me smile because I don't know what I would do without you.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
