5 Things To Do Before Summer Ends

School season is almost here again, with all of the studying, homework, and long nights that come with it. However, that doesn't mean that the summer is over just yet. This is a simple list of things you should do before you head back to school this fall.

1. Go out and try something new.

Even if that something new is maybe downloading a new app for your phone, anything is better than nothing. Adventure is out there, you just have to know where to look. I heard that Pokemon Go! was worth a try.

2. Get out of the house.

Maybe travel to the nearest city with a couple friends. It's no fun f you waste your summer cooped up inside the whole time. Sure it's hot, but that won't last. You know you'll be missing the summer heat come winter.

3. Treat yourself!

It's not very often that you can live stress free. I know from experience that having a job can take it out of you, even if it only is part time. However, sometimes you just gotta treat yourself to a special little something for doing something you might not have wanted to do. Positive reinforcement can really go a long way.

4. Do something crazy.

Are you sick of your job and need a new one? Have you asked out your crush yet? These are things that might be seen as risky but could definitely have amazing rewards if done right. Maybe you'll get the job you've been wanting, and your crush might actually feel the same about you. You won't know until you try it. The craziest ideas are the best ideas if you ask my opinion.

5. Have you done anything relating to your new years resolution this year?

I know I haven't. Maybe it's time to actually start doing what you promised yourself you'd start doing. It could become extremely good for you. Even if your resolution was to get yourself a job.

6. Go down memory lane for awhile.

Sometimes, that just means playing one of your favorite games from childhood. But chances are you'll feel better afterwords.

The summer is almost over, and honestly, it'd be a crying shame if you just wasted it. There are tons of things you can do that don't cost anything. Don't waste the last of the summer is all I'm saying.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
