3. Keep your school work organized

Stay on top of your classes and keep all of your textbooks, assignments, and tests organized-- it will pay off in the long run!

4. Utilize the calendar on your phone

Maybe a hard copy planner/calendar isn't for you... so try it on your phone! There are tons of calendar apps, or you can just use the plain ole calendar on your phone.

5. Take a breather sometimes

Maybe last semester had you stressing, but this semester remember to take a breather. Sit back and relax with friends, go hammocking, or just watch some TV. Don't let this semester stress you out.

6. Take time to enjoy what you're learning

Maybe it is a class in your major that you decide is your favorite, or maybe it is a class that you took as a filler. This semester just sit back and enjoy the curriculum you're learning. Take time to actually let the material sink in and learn something new.

7. Read/keep the syllabus

It’s easy to just glance at the syllabus on the first day of class and shove it in the back of your backpack for the rest of the semester, but actually using it will help you out all throughout the semester.

8. Do not procrastinate

Do your assignments in a timely manner. Stay on top of projects.

9. Make friends in your classes

Don't just go in and go out of each class. Take time to get to know new people and expand your horizons. It is always helpful to have friends in your classes!

10. Enjoy college while you're in college!

I know this sounds cliche, but enjoy it while you're there. Keep a postivie attirude and keep doing your best!

I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
