1. Limit your group photos!
There’s nothing more frustrating than having to play “Where’s Waldo?” with a potential match on Tinder. When all your photos are group pics we are just going to assume you are the most unattractive of the group and swipe left.
2. Do NOT post pictures of you with other girls!
Unless you specifically put in your bio that the girl pictured is your sister, mom, cousin etc., we will think she is an ex and we will swipe left.
3. Make the effort to fill in the bio!
By leaving your bio blank we guess that there is absolutely nothing interesting about you and we swipe left for someone who could be bothered to cough up a few facts or a silly joke.
4. Remove your partying pics!
The majority of women do not want to swipe right on a guy who looks like beer pong and clubbing are his major/career. *Please refer to reasons one and two* since the majority of partying pics are in groups, with girls, or groups of girls!
5. No more close up selfies.
They are not flattering. When all your selfies are so close to your face we can only ever see an eyeball here and a half a smile there, we are just going to swipe left from the assumption that when we put the puzzle pieces of your face together, you aren’t worth the trouble.
6. Be appropriate and interesting in your bio.
When writing your bio, imagine your mother may stumble on it. While she may laugh at your corniness, don’t make her feel horrified by the cocky, sexual and/or vulgar things you make women read. If your bio makes you sound like a pig, you aren’t getting a super like from us.
7. Be original with your first message.
When we match, message us and be creative. Refrain from using any pick-up lines, please. Ask us a question about something in our bio or even a simple “Hi, how are you/your day/your night?” is better than the unimaginative “hey."
Make these changes and we might swipe right!
