Fall Out Boy

I am newly 21 years old and I feel so old. I am a junior in college and I still don't feel like it. Many different things make me feel old, but looking back on big events that happened social and publicly really make a move. Seeing songs and movies that I use to rock out to when I was just a child hitting their decade mark is crazy to me. So, for all you that are around my age, here is songs that will turn ten years old this year.

1. "This Is Why I'm Hot" MIMS

I don't think there is a better song to start off with. Either you actually took notes from this song so you could become hot or you say each line because you thought you were hot. Trust me, you rocked the brace and Abercrombie top, you were the definition of hot.

2. "Teenagers" My Chemical Romance

Now, teenagers do scare the living shit out of me.

3. "Hey There Delilah" Plain White

Dude, she is loving New York City just as much as she is loving being away from you. Also, you won't ever pay her bills by playing your guitar, let us be honest.

4. "The Sweet Escape" Gwen Stefani

Woo hoo, yee hoo

5. "Before He Cheats" Carrie Underwood

Ugh, Carrie. If she can dig her key into his souped up ride, then carve her name into his seats, take a slugger to his head lights, and then slash all four times then so can I. Right? Or is it only cool when she can do it and I would just look crazy?

6. "Party Like A Rockstar" Shop Boyz

Trust me, one can party like a rockstar if they just keep singing "party like a rock, party like a rockstar" for four minutes straight.

7.Crank That (Soulja Boy) "Soulja Boy Tell'em

Yoooouuuu - Don't tell me you didn't just punch and then crank it back three times from left to right

8. "Stronger" Kanye West

I don't think I can still walk normal when this song comes on. Every time I walk like I am an actually MVP and I actually enjoy it. This song was on every sports team warm up, every sports movie soundtrack, and basically every time someone needed pumped up it would just start playing. But remember, after you know that what doesn't kill you will only make you stronger, balling so hard that you get fined will follow. But, it will be okay because you will be in Paris.

9. "Umbrella"

Every time is rains, every single time, there is always that one kid.

10. "Chasing Cars" Snow Patrol

How can we even begin to forget that this song is on every movie when it comes to a sad love part. And if for some reason you can not recall that, then I know you can recall leaving this as your AIM message or Myspace status. "If I lay here, if I just lay here, would you lie with me and just forget the world" really told your sixth grade boyfriend that you are very heartbroken.

11. "Thnks fr th Mmrs" Fall Out Boy

Anytime Fall Out Boy came on, our arms and fist were in the air. Before, it was you in a middle school gym awkwardly jumping around to "new releases" and now you are in a smelly dark basement awkwardly jumping around to "throw backs." So thank you Pete for keeping us on our toes.

12. "The Great Escape" Boys Like Girls

Windows down and this song blaring, I still scream it. Don't act like you don't. I don't think it will ever die.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
