Throw Back Snacks
Tracey's Candy Shoppe

I don't know about you guys but I surely know since my childhood I've missed all of these classic candies which not only made the best after school snacks, but also acted as the glue which helped shape so many memories with friends, siblings, and neighbors.

Disclaimer: you might want to have some gummy worms ready to nibble on while you read to help the cravings...

1. Wonder Ball!!

Who would've thought that this classic combo of a hollow chocolate ball and color candies would make such a good pairing?

2. Cry Baby TT^TT

While eating this snack I actually enjoyed being called a "Cry Baby." I know I must not be the only one...

3. NERDS NERDS NERDS

Chewy, crunchy, sweet and delicious; these nerds and nerds rope made you the "cool kid" on the play ground that day...

4. Chiclets!

Chewy, ooey, and gooey these 12 little pieces somehow bring me back to a simpler and happier time when my biggest worry was running out!

5. What even were these called?

It is incredible to think that even the sight of these little strawberry drops of heaven instantly sends a smell and taste through my nose and mouth which makes me feel like a kid again. Shout out to my incredible Nana for always having these in the porcelain jar on the coffee table!

6. Choward's Gum

Whoever thought that violet chewing gum would be delicious, was not only strange but brilliant. Thank you to Choward's for keeping it unique and always scrumptious.

7.Pixy Stix!

Even though the amount of sugar came with excessive cavities and sugar rushes, it was worth it every time....well maybe not for mom and dad but for us it was always worth it!

8. Hubba Bubba Bubble Tape!

While the flavor didn't last long, thankfully the amount of gum did...

9.Candy Legos

Not only were these Lego candies fun to eat but they helped pass time by creating Lego homes and all different brilliant Architectural masterpieces.

10. Gumballs!!!

As simple as it is, gum in a ball shape was the coolest thing especially after a long day of grocery shopping with your mom or dad, and you got to crank the magic quarter wheel.

Well I hope you all enjoyed this blast to the past!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

19 Lessons I'll Never Forget from Growing Up In a Small Town

There have been many lessons learned.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
