Heaven on Earth: Target.

This is the wonderful place where you can grab a Starbucks, buy groceries and art supplies, and even meet fellow Target goers along the way. The very first steps in the door are the last steps to seeing the outside world for at least a couple of hours. You only plan to walk in and walk out but there is no such thing. Target reels you in with the brand-new inventory, employee khaki pants, and endless aisles of goods you never thought you would need or desire. These are just some of the many thoughts that every person who goes to Target has thought about before.

Go to Target, splurge, spend some money you know you don't have and pile all your purchases in the car. You deserve it!

1. *Screeching wheels as the car turns into the Target parking lot*

2. SOOO many pedestrians, please walk faster.

3. Why is this place so busy? It's one o'clock in the afternoon.

4. Do I want to park on the grocery side or the side with the $3 or less section?

5. *Drives around in circles to find the closest parking spot*

6. I only need a few things, stick to the list.

7. STICK TO THE LIST.

8. I should have parked on the grocery side.

9. Look at that purse!

10. *Orders a venti vanilla iced coffee*

11. I am going to go get a shopping cart. A basket is way too small.

12. Ends up grabbing 2 things off the list.

13. *Speed walks past the "20 items or less" checkout line*

14. Do I really need this waffle maker?

15. One more lap around the store, I think I missed an aisle, then I'm going home.

16. Okay, it's time to check out - no more shopping.

17. "Oh my go-", KEEP WALKING

18. Which side of the store do I want to check out on?

19. I think I'll get some popcorn, it smells so good!

20. Did that cashier just call me by my name?

21. *Beep* *Beep* *Beep* *Beep*...

22. Total: $186.74, sorry not sorry.

23. How is it already dark outside? Was I really in there that long?

24. Great, where did I park?

25. Ahh, finally home.

26. *Starts going through purchases*

27. I don't even remember buying this.

28. I forgot to buy makeup remover wipes.

29. It's fine, I guess I will have to go back tomorrow!

We as Target lovers have to make grand decisions when it comes to the stores we shop at. Ultimately, Target will always be our go to, we can buy groceries then head over to the electronics and pick out a printer if we want to. The possibilities are endless and so are the purchases. Target allows us to be carefree and really lets us know what it’s like to live. Target gives the people what they want. I find it funny that being able to spend a lump sum of money at Target is acceptable because everyone understands that once you enter Target there is no way you’re walking out of there with nothing in hand.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
