I'm not sure how anyone enjoys walking the streets of NYC. It's a once-in-a-year day trip. That's all it should ever be.
1. "I need a bathroom. Why do none of these places have a bathroom? How do the employees at these places use the bathroom?"
2. "Why does it smell like diapers and weed everywhere I go?"
3. "I don't feel safe walking here. Don't make eye contact with anyone."
4. "Don't stop walking. Keep moving and don't stop for anyone trying to sell me something in the middle of the sidewalk."
5. "Why is this person in front of me walking so slow? I'm just going to run past them."
6. "How do people live here?"
7. "Why do people LIKE living here? It's crowded, smelly, expensive, and takes out all of my energy."
8. "I can't find any place I'm looking for."
9. "My feet are tired, but I'm not paying for the subway or a cab."
10. "Are we there yet?"
11. "Why is the GPS taking me this way?"
12. "I still can't find the restaurant with the GPS."
13. "I think I accidentally pushed an old man."
14. "Why is everyone pushing and shoving? If we just all keep moving quickly, we don't need to come in contact with one another."
15. "Should I trust this food? It looks kind of sketchy."
16. "Is it bad if I just want to eat McDonald's here?"
17. "Is the pizza even really that good?"
18. "No, I don't want to donate to your charity. You're probably just going to pocket the money."
19. "I just want to go home."
20. "I am so thankful that I don't live here."
21. "I miss the suburban life."
If you're debating whether you want to go to NYC for the weekend, just stay home. It's not worth it.
