Every week, after overcoming your usual daily battles, some of us are reminded that our to-do list is far from over. Us Odyssey writers are faced with the task of writing about any topic we want every week, and also somehow never running out of ideas. But a couple of things happen each week when we log onto Muse.

Here are 8 thoughts all Odyssey writers can probably relate to.

1. Okay, are we gonna do a serious or funny topic this week?

The possibilities are endless! Now, if only I could think of an idea.

2. Is this too opinionated or controversial?

The answer is usually "yes," this is controversial. But this answer also usually means I'm writing one of my best pieces.

3. There is no way this is long enough. It's going to look like I didn't even try!

Okay so now I've written so much that my audience is fast asleep...

4. Why. Won't. My. Cover. Photo. Fit.

I picked the largest image I could find!

5. How did my tags for this article go from "Donald Trump" to "soul cycle"...

I don't know how I got here, but I certainly don't want to be remembered.

6. What does metadata even mean?

Does anyone actually know the importance of a metadata title or this just a personal problem?

7. Maybe I'll submit my article early this week!

Or... maybe not.

8. But nothing beats the feeling of finally submitting an article you're proud of.

After spending hours on an article, you might come out the other side feeling exhausted, with no motivation to ever do it again. But then, the next week comes, and you get that email with your page views and you hear people's reactions and you remember why you did it. There is no better feeling than getting your voice out there, and that's what makes the Odyssey so special.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
