It's the end of winter break.
For me, at least, this is a confusing time, as I bounce between being excited to go back to school and dreading going back to school.
This is my thought process as I pack for the upcoming semester.
1. Oh boy I LOVE packing!
2. Oh crap, I have Christmas presents that I need to bring with me...
3. Why can't I just keep watching Grey's Anatomy 24/7?
4. I could watch one more episode and then pack?
5. Wait, no Suzanne. Be strong. You have to pack.
6. Oh my MCAT prep books...Here to remind me to sell my soul for the will to study.
7. Must not forget my fish, Roger. He's been through so much already, who knows how abandonment will affect him?
8. Elsa will scratch me when I try to put her in her car carrier. Maybe I should leash train her. Nope...She is 9, that will not work.
9. CLOTHES. Oh, shoot. Forgot to pack my clothes.
10. WHY AREN'T MY PROFESSORS EMAILING ME BACK?!?!?!?!
11. Do I have K-cups in my dorm room?
12. Yes. A few.
13. Door decorations. Mustn't forget door decorations for my residents.
14. Ugh. I'm going to have to unpack all of this later.
15. THERE. I GOT IT ALL IN MY BAGS.
16. Now to wait for my brother.
And then inevitably, on the way to school, I will have this thought.
17. Did I remember my chargers?
Happy new semester!
