Finals season is upon us. Whether you're pulling an all-nighter to cram for that test or finishing a research paper five minutes before it's due, you might feel like you're in the middle of a battle with no end in sight. To lighten the load a bit, here are some thoughts we all have during finals week, as told by Point Place's favorite sarcastic war veteran, Red Forman.

1. One to three weeks before

When professors start handing out final assignments.

2. The weekend before

Ignoring all responsibilities.

3. Monday of finals week

You're checking your test answers with your friend's because you barely studied.

4. Tuesday

You're in the middle of a 20-minute presentation and wonder if you should just give up now.

5. Wednesday

Halfway through the week! You might be having a heart attack. It might also be the fifteen cups of coffee you drank.

6. Thursday

You're calculating if you'll still pass the class if you get a 40 on the exam.

7. Friday

You've managed to finish everything, but your friend still has a test that afternoon.

8. The Weekend after

You're packing to go home and celebrating because you didn't die.

9. Summer break

You get your grades back.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
