College is a great place. It is full of people, learning, and, most importantly, vines. It wasn't until this year that I realized vines have become a way that college students communicate with each other. Here are just a few that go through a college student's head almost every day.
1. When you are in a big lecture hall.
There are just too many people in one space, to be honest. Usually, the noise level is right around this.
2. When that guy in your lecture just won't shut up.
Some lectures just have that one person who not only answers every question, but he also adds his opinion and provides way more information than is needed.
3. When you think you did really well on an exam but you actually failed.
Because well... we've all been there.
4. When you leave your homework 'til the last minute
Sometimes, I just punch myself in the face.
5. When your teacher moves up the due date.
Let's be real, the level of disappointment is the same.
6. When you're trying to talk your friend up to the guy or girl they like.
"No, like they are so cool. I promise"
7. When you need more words for the 5,000-word essay.
Is the teacher really going to notice if you repeat yourself just a few times?
8. When you learn new and useless tricks while avoiding homework.
"I should probably start on homework.... or better idea I could learn how to flip this chair!"
9. When you want to go out and eat but your funds are running low.
You'll probably go and out and eat anyways, though.
10. When you have had it for the semester.
This is also me when I have to walk to class, and it's below freezing.
11. When you're done with classes for the day.
We are all always ready for a nap.
College is a beautiful place where vines express every single one of your feelings, and there is always one that perfectly explains how you're doing.
