Now that Thanksgiving break is over, there is a atmosphere of panic across American college campuses. The fall semester is almost over which means finals week is approaching. This is a time when students are bombarded with countless worries and are experiencing a wide range of emotions. Here are some thoughts all college students have after Thanksgiving break.
Why did I eat that much?
Well now that I'm back feeling like I gained 20 pounds over that short break, I am questioning my choices like most other students. But in the end, that first meal back on campus will make me wish I ate more.
I missed my roommates.
Seeing friends from home is great, but even a few days away will make everyone miss their roommates. Everyone will have new stories to share that first night back so relax and have fun together before you leave for winter break.
How is this semester almost over already?
It feels like classes began a week ago and now it's time for finals. This can bring a mix of emotions; it's great that my horrible 9am class is almost over, but it's also about to be the worst part of the semester.
Am I prepared for finals?
Is anyone really ever prepared for finals? Time to pull some all-nighters, have a few mental breakdowns, and hope for the best.
I can't wait for winter break.
College is stressful. What makes this time of year slightly better is the light at the end of the tunnel: Winter break.
What gifts am I going to buy anyone for the holidays?
I do not have the time or money to go shopping for gifts right now.
I'm another semester closer to graduation.
Well this is terrifying. The end of a semester means I am getting closer and closer to graduation, whether or not I am actually getting more ready for it.
There are only a few weeks left of the fall semester so make sure you prepare for your finals, but still have fun and appreciate the time you have left in college.
