We all know the true struggle of the pre-going out stages. Many emotions, outfits, shots, and thoughts get exchanged, resulting in the best night night ever (that is if you ever actually make it out). Here are some of the many things that are said before we even make it out of the house:

What bar do we want to end up at tonight?
Wedges or flats?
Can you do my hair?
Can you do my makeup?
Gosh I have NOTHING to wear
Is this too dressy?
Is this too casual?
Shots?
I'll be ready in 5, I promise
*45 minutes later* Okay seriously, I'll be ready in 5
Is my dress too short?
I really wanna meet a cute boy tonight
Gosh, I wish I was drunk already
Will you be my wing-woman tonight?
Can we PHU-LEASE get an Uber?!
OMG those shots are kicking in
What are the chances that cute boy from spanish class will be at the bar?!
Do not let me text my ex tonight
Also, don't let me text my other ex tonight
Don't let me be that chick that snap stories her whole night
HA, I am totally gonna be that chick, oh well
I am so excited to order pizza on our way home
and nachos
and cheesy fries
We need to dance on the stage at that bar
I hope the DJ is cute
*2 hours later*- okay I'm finally ready to go
Holy heck, I am so drunk
Can we just skip the whole going out thing and get dominos now?

Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
