You all want that your road trip should be complete without any trouble and the best way to avoid it by checking your car before a road trip. Taking some right precautions can save you time as well as your money. Before you get on the road for the ride ensure you have everything in order, what exactly do you need to check?

1. Check the fluids level of your car




You have to check the fluid level first, as it is one of the crucial things about your car. If your car's engine oil level is low then it's engine will overheat, and also cause self-destruction. Also check the coolant, brake fluid if these fluids are below then the marked level then your car is not safe to drive.

2. Test all lights and horn



While you getting off you should go through all the lights, indicators, brake, dip, full Bram etc. if you starting your trip at night or in foggy conditions, then you should make sure that your car's all lights are working correctly. Turn on all the headlights, parking lights, indicators, while you are testing the lights, honk the horn for a few times to make sure it works also. The most common problems of headlights are Fuse Keeps Blowing Out, Bulb Keeps Burning Out, Flickers On and Off, Low-Beams are Malfunctioning etc. You need to do all the headlight check by considering these problems. If you found any of the issues during checks then you must need to replace your headlight bulbs.

3. Windshield wipers



Like any other part of the car, wipers play a significant role while you starting your trip investigate that car's windshield wipers are working properly. Use washer fluid or some water to test the working of wipers if these are not performed its work or looking cracked then they need to be changed.

4. Tires



This one also a crucial checkup ahead the trip, so confirm the pressure of all tires are perfect or not, this confirmation is not only for the long life of tires but also for the long life of you and your family, stay safe on the road. Check your vehicle handbook for the recommended front and rear tire pressure you can check the pressure yourself at home by using digital tire inflation or use any other tire gauge. If any of the tires is low add air until the specified pressure rating also test tires cracking and bulging.

5. Replace your brake pads if necessary



If your break has been working from last 50 thousand miles then you have to replace the brake pads. Presented in a report, Most of the person say that:

7. Take an emergency kit



In your road trip you did not know which trouble occurs in the very next moment so for that unwanted condition you have to keep some emergency equipment includes flashlight, pliers, fire extinguisher, some other things you may want like road for, extra water bottles, food packets, jumper cables, and Matchbox etc. it's also a good idea to carry a 'first aid box'.

8. Spare wheel



An easy and essential audit for the road trip which you can do yourself i.e. keep a spare wheel in your car so that you can change any tire if need you also want to make sure that your spare wheel has a properly inflated tire on it. Check the tire pressure properly, also put the Jack, spanner and reached for further use.

These are some essential checks which you can do yourself while you're getting on a trip. These above things can make a contrast between getting to your trip station as the program or sitting by the roadside await for restoration.
