10 Things To Do With Your BFF This Summer

1. Drive-in movie theater

If you have one nearby these are so much fun to attend! Make sure to get some blankets, and snacks for the movie.

2. The zoo or aquarium

If you're an animal lover this is a must

3. 4th of July fireworks

Since it is coming up go somewhere awesome to watch the fireworks or throw a mini 4th of July party!

4. Tryout new recipes

I'm always looking on Pinterest for new food ideas whether it's dinner, snack or a sweet you'll have a great time making it with your BFF.

5. Mani/Pedi

Who doesn't love doing this?

6. Go Downtown

Explore, try new food, hit up all the shopping places, and document it with pictures. It's a great adventure!

7. Binge-watch a TV show

This is perfect for a rainy day.

8. Disney movie marathon

Need I say more?

9. Go to a concert

Choose a band or artist that you both love, and have a blast.

10. Take a road trip

This is a great idea to do if you live in a big state or near the beach. You could travel to a city you've never been to before and explore or lay out at the beach if you happen to be close!

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.

You cannot beat the beach. Believe it or not (which many people may not), New England has a long and beautiful coastline. Most of my high school summers were spent sitting on the Wall at Hampton Beach, getting sunburnt and eating Acai bowls from The Secret Spot. The Wall was the place to be both during the day and at night. We begin our days there with a KB's bagel and coffee, and end them with pizza and ice cream. It’s not a New England summer without that 4 p.m. text from someone, “Who wants to meet at the Wall tonight?” Nighttime is for Tripoli’s Pizza, the sound of waves, and wishes on shooting stars. Wednesday nights are especially important, as those are the nights that Hampton Beach sets off the weekly firework display.
