14 Thoughts You Had While Moving Out Of Your College Dorm

The year has finally come to a close. You finished all of your exams and you just want to relax and start enjoying your summer asap. But, your going to have to wait just a little bit longer because it's college move out day. Great, more stress right? For some reason packing all of your dorm stuff just isn't going that smoothly.

1. Where do I even start?

You just sit there and look at all of your things, trying to figure out what to tackle first.

2. Calculating how many boxes you can carry at one time.

The least amount of trips is the ultimate goal on move out day.

3. Throwing away perfectly fine items, for the sake of saving room.

Because you just can't even deal with all the little tid-bits that really don't belong anywhere

4. Taking a moment to look around and appreciate your space one last time.

This chapter in your life is over before it began. You let it sink in; time flies by so fast.

5. Getting nostalgic about all the memories you created with your friend-roommate.

You're going to miss ranting over your crappy professors, and all lame boys that wasted your time.

6. You contemplate throwing every thing into a giant trash bag.

If you have to organize and categorize one more box, then you might loose it.

7. Cursing the sun for shining so brightly.

It's too hot for all this, stop it.

8. Hating everyone on the elevator.

Why is everyone taking up so much space?

9. Wondering why you didn't start packing sooner.

It was a bad life decision, it was.

10. Discovering how much sweating you're capable of.

The floodgates have opened.

11. Realizing that you actually kind of don't want to leave.

College has become your home now, and you don't want to leave your new life

12. Wishing you would have used your desk more.

Maybe you would have gotten more schoolwork accomplished, but then again maybe not

13. Being generally over it.

College move out day will test every morsel of patience you have left after a brutal semester.

14. Wondering why you brought so much stuff to college in the first place.

All you do is take naps anyways. You'll only pack necessities next time.

After all the frustration and chaos of moving out all your stuff out, you look at the emptiness of your dorm and feel a little sad. You made a lot of memories here. You made it your home. You learned to look past the cinder block walls and love your space for what it was. It's the end of a chapter, that went by way to fast. But there's going to be so much more to come.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
