1. Wearing baggy T-shirts
Remember in middle school when we were so embarrassed about having a big t-shirt that we would tie them up?? Now we ALL own huge, baggy t-shirts and it's totally normal to rock them with some running shorts and call it a day.
2. Wearing glasses.
Before, wearing glasses was seen as a nerdy thing. Nowadays, people are buying glasses with fake lenses to look cooler and more "hipster." Some are just now choosing glasses over contacts.
3. Going all natural.
Before, wearing makeup was the cool thing to do. You wanted other people to know you just got all dolled up. Now, however, looking like you aren't wearing makeup is the new trend; for girls to go natural is way cooler.
4. Being friends with your mom.
Not that it was weird, but it wasn't really a common thing people spoke about. Now, being close with your mom is "goals." So, to all the mother-daughter duos: you're killing it and always have been!
5. Drinking coffee.
Before, drinking coffee was for old people, you're teachers, and it was weird if young people did. Now, everyone is doing it. They're sharing their favorite drinks, and the cutest coffee shops are popping up everywhere. I'm not complaining, though.
6. Standing out.
Standing out hasn't always been something people thought highly of. If you were different than the majority of the kids at your school, the kids in your neighborhood, or the kids in your area, it was weird. Nowadays, standing out is something we all take pride in. It's almost like NOT being that cookie cutter kind of person is seen as better.
So, I guess we're all pretty cool, huh?
