20 Things You Forgot To Thank Your Mom For
David Wolfe

Mothers. They are the most wonderful person in this world. They have supported you since you can remember. They have sacrificed their happiness for yours and devoted just about every spare minute they had to keeping you happy. They are the only ones that can find anything you are missing in the blink of an eye. They love you unconditionally and always will. That being said, most of the time they do these things without a please or thank you. So because we don't thank them frequently enough (or at all), what better time to do so than on Mother's Day.

Mom...

1. Thank you for believing in me and my dreams when no one else did--including myself, sometimes.

2. Thank you for making me feel beautiful even when I didn't think I was.

3. Thank you for always protecting me and looking out for my best interest.

4. Thank you for being my biggest role-model, support and inspiration.

5. Thank you for your endless love, hugs and kisses.

6. Thank you for building a home with me in it.

7. Thank you for your honest advice and life hacks.

8. Thank you for letting me make mistakes.9. Thank you for teaching me how to learn from my mistakes.

10. Thank you for listening to me even when you didn't agree.

11. Thank you for cleaning up all my messes (even the ones that weren't just spills).

12. Thank you for waking me up for school every morning until I went to college.

13. Thank you for taking and picking me up from school, sports and play dates before I could drive (and even sometimes after that).

14. Thank you for washing my sheets so I could sleep in a clean bed and for washing my clothes so I wouldn't have to go a day without my favorite t-shirt.

15. Thank you for taking care of me every time I was sick because you were the only one that could make it better.

16. Thank you for the hours you spent on home-cooked meals and for keeping me fed.

17. Thank you for drying my tears even when they made you cry, too.

18. Thank you for holding my hand through the tough times and while crossing streets.

19. Thank you for letting me get away with things that dad wouldn't.

20. Thank you for being the best friend anyone could ask for.

This one's for you mom. Thank you for being the best mom anyone could ever ask for.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
