1. Chuck Bass will always be your favorite - no matter what he does.

Honestly, when you think of all the things Chuck has done throughout the show, you would expect that we would hate him - nope. He's still my favorite character, and he always will be.

2. You don't know who you are rooting for anymore in the Serena struggle between Dan and Nate.

Honestly, I don't know anymore. I don't want either of them to date her actually. They always have so many issues with trust and jealousy and Serena just needs to date someone else for a change ....(and stick with it).

3. There are some points where you have to stop watching the show altogether because there's SO. MUCH. DRAMA.

I have literally binge watched this show and have had to stop, not because I couldn't have kept going, but because there is just so much drama. Honestly though, I wouldn't expect anything else from a show entitled Gossip Girl.

4. After a few seasons, you feel like you would be able to expect some of the plot twists, but they still manage to surprise you all the time.

Every episode is a non stop dramatic plot twist. In fact, i'm going to go out on a limb and say there isn't much about Gossip Girl that ISN'T a plot twist. And why I don't expect some of the things that happen? I will never know.

5. You come to terms with the fact that Blair and Chuck will never be perfect. Ever.

Every time they get together I root for them so hard, and then something happens every time. The dynamic duo that is Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf is honestly a cacophonous ticking time bomb waiting to explode ....and it does. Multiple times.

6. The fact that everyone has dated each other, honestly makes you slightly uncomfortable when you really stop to think about it.

Vanessa and Dan. Vanessa and Nate. Serena and Dan. Serena and Nate. Jenny and Chuck. Blair and Chuck. Blair and Nate. Jenny and Nate.

I could go on and on with all the people who have dated each other in this show ...but it's just too time consuming, and honestly very uncomfortable. The love triangles are crazy.

7. Georgina will always be the devil.

I can't tell you how much I cringe every time she enters a scene. She is perhaps the biggest source of drama on the show. It's a never ending horror story when Georgina Sparks comes into play.

8. You want a name as epic as one of the characters.

Seriously, if I had a name as cool as Serena van der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Chuck Bass, or even Georgina Sparks, I'd be pretty satisfied with my life.

9. Your main goal in life is to be as happy and positive as Cyrus.

Honestly, Cyrus is so adorable - and possibly one of the best characters on Gossip Girl. My life goal is to be exactly like him. Also, can we talk about how HILARIOUS Blair's first reaction to him was? And also how proud we are of her for growing to love him over the years?

10. You have a love/hate relationship with every single character.

I can't decide wether I love or hate Serena. Or Blair. Or Jenny. Or Vanessa. Or Chuck.

The only character I will always love is Cyrus Rose, and the only characters I will always hate are Georgina Sparks and Jack Bass. Other than that, there are lovable and hatable points towards just about every character.

Overall though, you know you love this show! xoxo

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
