Disney has been a huge part of our childhoods, and it has certainly taught us some valuable lessons in life. I will be listing the ten lessons I, as well as you, have learned from the magic of Disney!
1. It is okay to cry
Disney movies can be tearjerkers in general, but if you have a bad day, someone has passed away, or something else entirely, it is okay to let it out.
2. Be who you truly are
Whether it is your sexuality, political bias, or how you were raised, do not let anyone tell you who they want you to be! It is your life and it has always been!
3. Do not give up on your dreams
Dreams do come true! You just have to do everything that you can to make it into a reality!
4. Face your fears
We cannot live life having something to fear. Once you finally face your fears and conquer them, you will feel like a changed person for the better.
5. No matter your age, you can still have fun
Even if you have children or grandchildren, you can still have fun going to a theme park ride, play video games, or watch a movie with them!
6. Beauty is within, not on the outside
Appearances can be deceiving, but once you get to know the real person, you may end up becoming great friends with them, or even fall in love and eventually become your soulmate!
7. Spend more time with the ones you love
Whether it is your best friend or your significant other, life is too short to not spend enough time with them!
8. Your hard work will pay off
You may end up getting what you deserve whether getting good grades in school, helping your community, and more!
9. Honesty is important
It is better to tell someone what is bothering you than to lie. You know what they say, "Honesty is the best policy!"
10. Just keep swimming
If you feel the whole world is crashing down on you, keep going forward. Your conflicts will resolve eventually and you will overcome your troubles!
No matter what you say in your rebellious years, Disney always gets you. The movies will always provide amazing lessons for us to learn and to pass down to friends, children, and even your elders!
