I am a brown-eyed girl, plain and simple. There is nothing specifically special about my eyes besides that they are big too. Yes, brown eyes have different shades, but it is very rare for someone to realize that. A lot of the world doesn't think much about brown eyes, but here are some things you may not have known about brown eyes from a brown-eyed girl herself.
1. Chocolate is not just a delicious candy, but also a wonderful descriptor for eyes
It’s true! I have probably had at least two people a year comment on my eyes looking like chocolate or some alternate candy of the same color. They have a deep creamy texture with a nice brown tone to help bring the "chocolatey" out. My eyes are as sweet as the candy they look like.
2. We hold all the colors in our eyes!
For lack of genetic terms, our children could have any color of eyes depending what they pull out of our eyeball gene pool. If I were to marry a man with blue eyes, the positive probability of us having a blue-eyed child would raise.
3. Purple is our friend in clothing and makeup.
Nothing is prettier than a brown-eyed-girl wearing a light purple eyeshadow or a nice purple blouse. We don’t know why, but it just brings out our eyes. Purple is something sweet that takes away from the dullness of our brown. In all honesty though, brown-eyed girls can pull off most colors in clothing.
4. Black eyeliner is never a bad idea.
It not only brings out the eyes, but it can be used to make us look mysterious as well. Black and brown are like best buds. When I line my eyes with a little bit of black eyeliner, it makes me look more alive. A hint of black mascara can't hurt either.
5. We wouldn't want any other eye color
Oh, it is nice to think of ourselves with blue eyes or green eyes or even hazel eyes, but in the end, we wouldn't trade our big, brown eyes for anything in the world.
